My family did a bday dinner surprise for me at Arirang’s. Food was great, but one of the server female was rude the entire time. The male server was excellent and patient with us. This was my second dining there because of their great food.
The food here is so good!! The waitress is so nice. Always have a good time here and leave stuffed!
Adding truly delicious food to a night out with friends is the best kind of night and Arirang did just that. The bulgogi was sweet and delicious, we opted for the not spicy version, and it held its shape when cooked. I've had bulgogi that basically dissolved and became a gritty mess before and this was not like that. The teriyaki chicken was flavorful and juicy before dipping it into the teriyaki sauce that came on the side, it's wasn't marinated beforehand, and I found that I enjoyed it that way. With the sauce it was equally delicious, but while the sauce was a pretty good balance of sweet, salty, and savory, I don't think I'd like my chicken covered in it. I'd never had chadol before and I have to say that the thinly sliced beef brisket was super delicious and one of my favorite meats of the night. Another offering that I hadn't tried before was the pork moksal which were larger pieces of pork that took quite a long time to cook. They were on the chewy side, but in a really pleasant way for me. The flavor was a bit of a surprise because it tasted deeper than pork but not rich like beef...somewhere in between that was really awesome. This will go on my regular choices whenever I visit here again. Our last meat choice was the obvious samgyupsal, the fatty pork belly. It was thick and delicious and really good when dipped in the sesame oil, salt, and pepper as well as the richer medium savory sauce. I'm sure it would be awesome with the spicier sauce too, but with no gallbladder I'm forced to limit my spice intake *cue crying emoji. The ddeokbokki was a little spicier than I anticipated but the heat in my mouth dissipated really quickly and I was able to enjoy every single bite. This was a truly delicious meal and I'm really, really glad someone recommended this place to me. The A set on its own is only available for lunch at $24.95, but set B which includes all the offerings in set A and B is offered all day for $27.95, as well as set C which includes all three sets of meat choices being offered all day for $32.95. Set C is where you'll find L.A. Galbi and the steak selections. Fountain drinks are Pepsi products and are free refills, the Coca-Cola products come in cans and are not free refills. They have a decent selection of sake and soju as well. We didn't leave room for dessert, which is not included in the AYCE set meals. I'll absolutely give this place another visit the next time I'm in town.
Excellent service, good atmosphere. The food and all the related options, are fantastic.Food: 5/5
This KBBQ has pretty good food. Unfortunately the service here was trash. Our orders kept being forgotten or were brought the wrong dishes. There was Hispanic couple the table over and they had the same problem. We had a small conversation regarding it. the server over charged us by charging us in the top tier of meats but we only got things from the mid tier. Once I brought it to our servers attention and she corrected the mistake, somehow the bill went up by $15, instead of going down I don't know how this happened. When I attempted to get an explanation as how the bill when up I was brought the manager. She immediately became confrontational and did not let us explain our curiosity regarding the bill going up instead of down. She stuck her hand in front of my friends face not letting her talk. Due to the manager not wanting to have any conversation I simply paid the over-inflated bill and left. I wont be giving this establishment another chance.
DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. I ll give 0 star if I can . First the service was very bad they won’t let me cook my foods the way I want it. and secondly she brought the receipt with 23 dollars extra I ask and a big guy came and telling me that’s my tips. That by law with their business I have to pay the tips which I did not pay finally after yelling at them. Please if you still want to go there check very well your receipt. These people are thieves and scammer. JUST DO NOT GO TO AVOID PROBLEM.
My daughter and her best friend came in here to eat. These are two 20 year old girls. The girls left a tip but the waitress didn’t like the amount of it and started yelling at the girls. She eventually ended up grabbing the friends wrist and yelling at her to pay a better tip. My daughters friend finally did just so the woman would let go of her. I do not advise any one to eat at this establishment. And if you ever touch my daughter or her friend again I and the police will be at your restaurant. Have a fabulous day
ARIRANG Korean BBQ Restaurant is delicious!!! The restaurant was clean, staff was super attentive, food was great quality. We are so happy to have this gem in this neighborhood. Portions are large, so order small to start the banchan variety was incredible and delectable. Kid-friendliness: Yes. Such a fun experience. Parking: Plenty of parking. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
Service is a big trash. And they are scammer. I ordered C which is 35$ . The receipt came with 88$ . And they force you to pay tips . I asked why a big guy say by their business law we have to pay tips. They are thieves. Go to 888 Korean bbq in china town to enjoy your meal please.
This was the first time to visit this resturant. It was a recommendation from a friend. We went here for their $15.99 lunch special. This place is a little hidden it is kinda set in towards the end of a strip mall right next to CVS... We went on a weekday at about 12 noon and it was perfect only had maybe 2 or 3 other parties in the whole resturant... we were greeted right away and seated too... All the Korean Ajamas were so nice and very friendly with excellent customer service... of course dey had da flat screen televisions playing Kpop... Inside was quant and clean... So we all got the $15.99 lunch special which was good for a all you can eat Korean bbq... our waitresses brought out all da banchan fisrt which was all the standards of a typical Korean bbq house... They were all yummy and 3 different types of dipping sauces. All the meats were marinated so perfectly and you could order side dishes too... like gyoza, tofu, cheese corn, several different types of stews, egg rolls, chicken katsu, orange chicken and several other choices... An enjoyable experience... we will be back for sure... Komopsupnida...
