I went in to have my oil changed for a first time at this dealership I normally go to Latham. I specifically advised the head service advisor I just got a brand new oil housing unit and a radiator and please do not over tighten my oil housing unit.it was Bone dry before I took it down there. I am very very disappointed with this dealership oil housing unit and new radiator-2 years ago 2800$ I didn’t even have the money at the time to get that job done but i did!. Than this one time one time only I go check you guys out because Latham Goldstein was booked for some hours . Straight up played me and disregarded my concerns.12,000$ I put in this vehicle since I purchased it in 2018 . All of a sudden I have an oil leak power steering leak transmission fluid leak any part that has fluid except for my windshield fluid anything that cost real money was leaking. . All my work was done at Goldstein in Latham never seen a leak before or after work was done. A month lather and now oil is all in my valley. I advise anyone with half a brain to never return or go here period. The videos you guys do is beautiful but why wouldn’t you video before you start touching ppl oil housing unit when I specifically said it was new .Why video while the oil is being drained from the bottom of the jeep. Grand jeep Cherokee owners stay away from these guys, they are worst than Valvoline Paying close to $100 for oil change for you to mess people s… up and now today 1/6/2024 check engine light p0157 from oil leaking on my 02 sensor . Smdh
Came into Armory as my Jeep lease was over and needed some guidance as the dealer where I purchased my Jeep originally had not followed up with me. I met with Jerome R. and he was very helpful. I realize that buying out of a lease is not a real home run as far as the car business is concerned. Jerome and staff were very helpful and patient none the less. They explained that my vehicle with low mileage was a good option in light of the increases in vehicle prices and lease rates.
Normally I have great experiences at Armory. I have had my vehicle serviced there 5x here, and make it a point to travel from NYC to come here because their facilities are clean/high tech and everyone who works there is extremely professional and courteous. However, I am extremely disappointed by my most recent trip. I always use their Express Lane, and assumed that they would check my battery and fluid levels including coolant levels since you can see it as soon as you pop open the hood. Why would I assume this? Because it is called out as a standard checklist item of the multi-point inspection on their website. Check out the video. However, two days after getting my car serviced, I could not start my car all the error signals were going off, brakes wouldn't disengage to start the car, etc, and after calling AAA, it turned out my battery was dead. The battery health was never called out despite the fact that the video on the website says that they check battery health in the multipoint inspection. MOREOVER, as the AAA technician was replacing my battery, I noticed that I practically had ZERO coolant in my coolant reservoir - I know NOTHING about cars, and saw the issue immediately. I attached a photo of it - the coolant was WELL below the minimum line. This is SO scary because I use my car to commute to Baltimore weekly 3+ hours on the highway, including the jersey turnpike, and the fact that my engine could have just stalled on the fast lane of the highway is terrifying to me. I'm extremely disappointed in Armory right now. I liked taking my car to Armory because I felt like they were thorough/professional, and could help guarantee that my car was in safe driving condition after doing routine servicing here. The fact that I called them and they said that they don't check coolant levels/battery health despite their website stating that it's part of their standards is making me re-think using them in the future. If a mistake was made, own up to it - don't have one thing on the website, and then say that it's not something you guys do.
I bought a vehicle through them via a third party app/company. I was very excited to receive the vehicle. Upon arrival, there were multiple areas of corrosion on the vehicle - in the pictures and more areas not pictured. Although common for this vehicle, there was absolutely no mention or photos of it in the listing. I wasted about a week and a half in the process of getting the vehicle delivered. While they offered a small cash offer to keep the vehicle, it wasn’t enough to fix the problem or worth the hassle of missing work, getting a rental car, etc. This was my first and last experience buying a car online.
I have worked with Brian Walts for my last 3 vehicles and won’t go anywhere else. My new vehicle was driven to me for the trade, and being a nurse that is so helpful! Everything is always fast and uncomplicated. Brian explains everything and gives you all options to find what meets your needs. Thank you Brian and Armory!
The reason for my three star review is.. not too much against armory but more so the fact that I got my first ever jeep this past May and can honestly tell you it will be my last. I already want to trade it in for a different brand. I bought it “certified” & have had to have my car jumped 3 times in the last two and a half weeks. Now I am told by AAA that I need a whole new battery. So I go to the armory after AAA got my car started, thinking I might not have to pay anything because having a “certified” car holds the same benefits as if it was brand new. This is what I was told when purchasing. I get there and they tell me it will be 188 to even look at it and then around 400 for the battery. I haven’t even had the car a year yet. So now I just had AAA here again and got the battery thru them for a fraction of what armory was going to charge. So everyone , even tho Jeep has roadside assistance.. get AAA it’s worth every penny! I won’t be sticking with a Jeep for my next purchase
Olivia and all the staff at Armory provided excellent service in every way possible. This is my third vehicle I bought there because they are very professional, accommodating, informative, friendly, and fair. I have had interactions with staff in all the departments over the last 10+years and have always been treated with respected and assistance with whatever need or questions I had. Marlon has always been a pleasure to talk with when I bring in a vehicle for service or need other assistance as are all the service staff. Armory should be proud of their staff and the service they provide. From the "money man" to the mechanic and Mark who has driven me home several times, I can and do highly recommend them.
I am a second time buyer at Armory and each time I was provided with kind and professional service. Donald D and Evan V were sure to make the transition into my new Jeep a smooth and easy process. I am grateful to have received such incredible service from the armory staff. Thank you!!
Returning customer to Armory Garage. The sales process was great and painless. So two months after I bought my car it had issues. I call make an appointment that was 12 days out. I get a text message the day before appointment they have to cancel it. Please call and reschedule it please. I am sorry you should have called me and rescheduled right away do not use AI. So needless to say I am done with Armory Garage they have no clue about customer service or hospitality to customers.
BRIAN Walts was my sales agent. He and Sal, sales manager worked very hard at making sure all my requests and needs were met. I had my 2024 jeep in my name and able to drive off the lot within 48 hours of start of purchase.
