Really upset with my first and more than likely last trip to the Arni foundation today. My boyfriend and I have been looking to adopt our first dog together and decided to check out Arni foundations website to see what dogs they had available. On their site they have several dogs listed in the available dogs section one in particular I was incredibly interested in meeting and adopting. I will admit, I got attached to the Image of this dog and I was incredibly excited to meet and, in my mind,  adopt this dog. When we got to the shelter I all but bound out of our car and ran into the building. When we got inside we asked the woman working there about viewing the dogs when, to our surprise, she says to us, "We don't have any dogs at this moment." In my very confused state I stammered out "But you have dogs on your website?" to which she replied, "Yeah, we just don't take the pictures of them down because that would defeat our purpose." Um, I'm sorry, so what is The Arni Foundations purpose? because I was under the assumption  that this was a shelter meant to take in and adopt out cats and dogs. Why would you not take down the pictures of the animals you no longer have??? On top of this we were informed the dog that we were hoping to meet and take home today, had been adopted a while ago. What is the point of having a website if you are not going to keep it updated with your available animals? Arni Foundation was a total disappointment today.

We adopted two older dogs at ARNI, one in 2003, one in 2004. Both were about 7-8 years-old when adopted. Both filled our lives with joy until 2015. We rescued our Jake, an awesome shepherd from the street as he was tied to a palm tree waiting for Animal Control to pick him up! ARNI and Dr Rittinger helped with his neutering and vaccinations. We love ARNI foundation!

Heartwarming animal rescue shelter.& adoption center.  Nice Thrift Shop with wonderful buys with proceeds going to the animals care.   Both have caring friendly staff.

Louts of clothes for women, men and teens... not so much for infants/ toddlers.   Cute womans shoes. 
I went 2 days after hurricane Irma's visit so they were still dealing with no electricity on one side of the store.   Friendly staff.   Lots of animal items.
