I should start by saying this review is only based on the coffee and pie we had while there at about 7 o'clock at night. We were seated promptly, waited on fast...waitress was terrific, but 2 of the 3 pie slices we tried were just not good. Pumpkin was fine, but it's kind of hard to mess that one up. The other two were banana cream (zero flavor - tasted like vanilla pudding) and chocolate cream (again, very bland texture was like pudding) not what we expected at all. We were really disappointed. Decent place to have coffee and chat though!

Service was good, food not so much. My son's bacon was so dry and hard it was inedible, it looked like leather.  I got a chicken fajita pita, the pita was soggy and the chicken was laced with grisly fat that not even the "chef" could cut thru. If it had tasted good I would've made an effort to cut around it but it didn't.  I'm no complainer so I usually don't say anything unless I'm asked about the quality of a meal so it's always a bit irritating when a server comes to bring you your check and they see that your plate still has 90% of the food still on it and they say nothing....
It's also worth mentioning that they charge almost $3 for a cup of run of the mill diner coffee....that may be typical, I don't get coffee often but the fact that I didn't even enjoy that made it that much harder to shell out $35 bucks for this meal that neither of us wanted to finish.

Service and location push this resturant forward for a consideration of breakfast, lunch and dinner; hence the name Around the Clock. There is counter service for the quick and go meal but no one urges you out the door whether sitting there or in the booths. Once settled in this is the place where one learns the meaning of a never ending cup of coffee.

I enjoy their soups and deserts.  For only 25 cents more you can upgrade to a bowl instead of a cup. Ask for some fresh warmed btead and butter. They have a small salad bar with a variety of toppings.

Busy place, great breakfast food and options, pretty fast service. Staff is great and friendly, tables turn over quickly so wait times are short
