Story

In 1934, the Frank brothers began Arrow Delivery service. From that beginning in downtown Dayton grew Arrow Wine Stores. Arrow Wine has grown into the Tri-State's leading purveyors of wine, liquor and beer. Their slogan "If it’s hard to find try Arrow Wine" describes the many different items found at both stores. Everything from beer and wine making materials, smoke shop (with walk in humidors), gourmet foods, gift ware and party supplies are available. Custom made gift baskets, party planning and home/business delivery add to the unique shopping experience. The knowledgeable wine buyers taste dozens of wines weekly, offering unusual values from around the world. Each store, in Kettering and Centerville, carries over 2,000 wine labels with access to thousands more. Both Arrow Wine stores offer weekly wine tastings and special events throughout the year.

Good selection but their staff are rude and unhelpful. Drove 30 miles to a "super" wine tasting and couldn't even get a single sample. The beer section had some helpful people, but the guy sitting in the corner eating a sandwich and failing to let me know that he was offering tastings was not a good experience. I only found out he was offering a tasting when he let someone else in on the secret. Then the wine section that I came all the way to check out were RUDE. A lady behind one counter told me there was a tasting and I told her I was interested, but she cut me off as she shouted out to someone she knew and blew me off. SO... I tried the other counter at the back. A girl was there talking on the phone and did not even acknowledge I was there. I guess the conversation about what she made for dinner the night before was more interesting than her job. I left without tasting a single wine. I was there at least 25 minutes and there was no one else there tasting wines either, so don't get the impression they were busy. JUST RUDE!!! So disappointing.

Amazing selection of both domestic & imported beer, wine & spirits. Purchase off the shelf & chill at home to your taste or visit their cold room for perfectly chilled beverages ready to serve. Planning a large celebration; Arrow works with local caterers to meet all your liquid libation needs.

Definitely the place to go when you're looking for that unusual bottle of adult beverage. Much better selection of liqueurs, cordials, and cocktail fixings (bitters, etc.) than others in Dayton. Whiskey selection on par with other good liquor stores. Wine selection about the best in town plus tastings. Excellent beer selection, especially for regional craft brews. Also plenty of barware.

Very impressive beer selection, found everything I was looking for and then some. As an out of state visitor, I was looking for a few specific beers that don't come to my state, found the 3 I wanted plus one special edition of a beer that I frankly didn't expect to leave it's own home state of New York. I was thrilled! Returned to CA with a full 6-pack, 2 12-oz beers from a 6 pack I couldn't finish, and 4 22OZ beers, came in 0.2 pounds under the baggage weight limit! Prices weren't exactly bargains, but reasonable, and there were deals to be found if you aren't shopping for anything specific like I was.

Tried to have a conversation with the person behind the counter to say thanks for great directions but the manager stepped in rudely so made my purchase and told the lady id be back had a gift for her.... Some perfume and cologne to try... While sampling and testing the rude manager Charlie stepped in again and said I can't sell here. I told him it was a gift and he rudely told me to leave. I returned all the items that i bought and got refund. You can't get rude with people CHARLIE.
