Story

Art of the Lakes is a non-profit organization dedicated to service to the community through education and a gallery open to the public. Everyone is welcome to our membership, artists and non-artists alike. Art of the Lakes has monthly programs throughout the year, featuring a variety of speakers and activities.

Tax-Exempt Nonprofit Status
Art of the Lakes Association is a Minnesota-based nonprofit corporation, and is recognized by the United States Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization. The corporate office is located at 108 Lake Avenue South, Battle Lake, Minnesota 56515.
Art of the Lakes is funded in part by a grant from Lake Region Arts Council, through an appropriation by the Minnesota State Legislature

Mission

The mission of Art of the Lakes Association is to develop and promote interest in the visual arts, to sponsor art exhibits, to stimulate art appreciation among children, and to encourage emerging artists of all ages.
