We upgraded our piano with Artist Piano six months ago. We could not be happier with our piano! Paul Jennings was so helpful and knowledgeable. I don't know a lot about pianos, but he educated me and helped me understand what we were getting and why it is a great piano. He was very helpful. Four of our children play, and they have made great progress now that they have a good piano that can keep up with them. If we ever need to buy another piano, we will be going to Artist.

Paul was a great help to us in determining if a "hand me down" piano was indeed something we should undertake. Obviously someone gifting it to our family was great. Paul helped me (piano rookie) to know what were the things important to check and assess to help determine the worth of paying to move the piano and then what would be needed in the way of tuning and parts. Additionally he stressed that the overall success of our children learning to play had much to do with the quality of the major components and our upkeep in tuning and parts as needed. He was forthright, comprehensive in explaining things ahead of time and educating me about quality vs. a piano that has already seen it's day. He took a lot of time after inspecting the piano to help weigh the pros and cons and temper my excitement at acquiring a free piano with my husband's concern about whether the money spent in moving and upkeep was worthwhile. In the end it will work for our needs and my husband feels better about spending the money to do so. (well sort of!) There were no major issues that would have us sink a fair bit of money into moving and keeping up a lemon not to mention the money spent on lessons. Most appreciative of the generosity of friends whose children are grown and no longer have a use for it. We are SO glad that we can be confident that we didn't throw money away on something that was not worth the "extended warranty." Paul clearly loves pianos, and music and was a good advocate for kids learning on a piano that will teach them to hear and learn quality sound rather than set them up to learn on something that will hinder their ear or potentially their love of music...because it doesn't play well. I would highly recommend Paul and trust his feedback. He is very knowledgeable and helpful in weighing out the pros and cons!

Wonderful, professional service! I had been shopping for a grand piano for months when I found artist pianos. Paul Jennings introduced himself when I walked in, and I was very impressed by his professionalism. I not once felt pressured. The delivery company was great, but they hadn't checked the function of one of the pedals, so I called about 30 minutes after they delivered it to ask if they could send someone out to fix it. Paul himself was at my front door in 20 minutes, and crawled under my new grand piano in a suit and fixed the issue. I was VERY impressed from start to finish!

When our piano requirements exceeded what Craig's List could provide, we turned to Artist Pianos. They took into account our needs and our budget, never pushing us toward something we couldn't afford but taking the time to explain the differences among our options--those that mattered and those that did not. They also patiently let my son play his way across the entire store . . . . Nine months or so later, we are happy with our purchase and grateful for Artist Pianos' guidance. I highly recommend this store.

I am a church organist and music director, and my church recently purchased two upright pianos from Artist Pianos. We bought an Essex 123, and a boston up118. We are thrilled with both the pianos, and the experience working with Paul at Artist Pianos couldn't have been easier or more pleasant.
