Good price I’ll say that, but during the move our Ashley TV stand was chipped. The movers were very kind, acknowledged they had made a mistake and apologized. They then explained the insurance coverage that the company offers on damaged items where they reimburse .30 cents per pound on the damaged item. I then gathered the information and sent it over. The owner Dwight then sent me a nasty email claiming there was no way the movers could have caused that damage, it was only a MINIMUM CHIP and refused to honor the their insurance program. His advice was basically you are on your own. Very frustrating.. my wife and I have never moved the item and had it delivered brand new in the box and assembled at our previous home a year and a half ago. The reason we payed movers is so nothing would get damaged. It is understandable that mistakes can happen during a long days work but we expected the matter would be handled in a prompt and professional manner which it was not.

Dwyght was prompt, friendly, courteous, clearly skilled at moving furniture through doorways and around corners, tremendously helpful, and his services were very reasonably priced. We are saving his card and know who we'll use for moving needs in the future. I strongly recommend Mack's Moving Company if you want great service at a fair price.

Dwyght and his associate exhibited a terrific attitude and enormous stamina over 5 hours on a very hot day!

Very Disappointed that I hired these movers~ I should have known from the minute they couldn't get into my driveway. It was December 2016 and it was snowing on the day of my move. They didn't have snow tires on their truck! I watched as Dwight and his crew loaded my items on to their truck... I sent them a complete list of all my items, but they didn't have enough room to fit everything... of course they didn't! Dwight said, that "I said I lived in a townhouse"... I told the woman (who I made reservations with) that I lived in a Duplex with 2 bedrooms up and 3 rooms down, plus a basement. Not really sure what the difference are btw a duplex and a townhome (I think they are pretty much the same)- but that is beside the point... I had to rent a U-Haul the next day for $160.00 plus gas to get the remaining items they couldn't fit on to their truck! Needless to say- I told them to follow me to my new home- it was a 30 minute drive. They said they wanted to stop and get lunch- I gave them explicit directions to my new home; they said they would use a GPS. I told them I would meet them there... Little did I know it was going to be 7 hours later!!! Dwight decided to take a different route and not having snow tires - the truck with 3/4 my belongings got stuck and went into a ditch. I was furious when they called to tell me of the route they took… When they finally arrived at 9:30pm I helped them move my items off the truck! After they finished- Dwight asked me to look things over. I wish I had done a better job because to this day I am still finding items that were damaged – I am so disappointed in myself for not looking closer at my belongings but I was exhausted from waiting and helping them move my things I didn’t look closely. Dwight then proceeded to say I am only going to charge you for 2 extra hours because it wasn’t my fault they went into the ditch, ha ha and then he asked me to write a review – right then and there. I should have refused to pay the extra money and write the review but I was so tired by then I just gave in. I feel I should not have been charged the extra time NO MATTER WHAT- I can tell that they must have moved several items off the truck into the snow when they were stuck because most were wet and dirty in the next days while I was unpacking. The moral of this story is don’t go cheap- do your homework- the reviews on their site are ones they get while they are standing right in front of you!!! I did call Dwight to try to get my money back – a few days later and he basically said “we did the job despite all the complications” and wouldn’t budge. He doesn’t care about you or your belongings! I just don’t want him to fool anyone else- they are cheap and cheap is what you get….
