Story

Our doors opened in 1989 with a single stylist. Realizing that her passion for hair included truly caring for people, her dream grew into a bigger salon with likeminded people. Today we are a growing team of stylists who dedicate ourselves to delivering an exceptional salon experience. We believe that continuing education helps us be the best we can be. However, without you, there would be no "us" and for that we thank you!

AGREED: DONT USE JESSICA HILL!!! 
My girlfriends & I used to go to this salon often for updos. We all have nothing bad to say about the owner & other employees. But we all had the same/similar experience with a Jessica Hill. Do not use her. Very unprofessional & makes you feel very uncomfortable. Waste of money & time if she does your hair. Trust us you'll be disappointed. We all agreed that she made the experience there terrible. So bad that we had to seek out a new salon. If the owner responds that she's gone then we will be back. If not, please take our advice before you waste your money.

DON'T USE: JESSICA HILL 
To owner: YES this did happen at your salon, lies aren't appreciated. 

I called and booked an appointment for a style. Simple updo for an evening event. My girlfriends recommend this salon. Don't know how a person can mess up basic hair requests. I'm an easy going, not picky, hair grows back kind of person. How "Jessica Hill" hairstylist, messed up my hair is beyond me. I was kind & still tipped her but she's terrible. Very snotty. Bragged about her daughter & how much better she is than other children. Lectured me & totally stressed me out. Even started complaining about her husband & how they've been through "20 babysitters". With her snotty attitude it didn't surprise any of us listeners she's been through so many. Others around me even noticed & raised eyebrows. I have no clue how anyone can stand working with her. I cannot go back to this salon out of fear of running into her. My girlfriends all agreed she's terrible as well. We all agreed we will not be going back as long as Jessica Hill works here. We hope the owners realize & get rid of this terrible stylist.

I found Artistic Hair on the internet about a year ago because the stylist I had and really liked moved away. My hair is very thick which makes it necessary to use a razor to cut the layers properly. Not many stylists I have found do this. Leah not only gave me a great cut but shared her expertise about my hair, products and cuts that would and wouldn't work on my hair. And she does so without trying to hard sell me lots of products. I have watched the other stylists, too, and they seem to be very competent and professional with cut and color as well. Everyone is nice, it is a low pressure, relaxing atmosphere and every head I have seen walking out of the salon looks great. Thanks for caring so much about your work, ladies. You do a great job!
