I do all my banking with Arvest and have been a customer with them for over 10 years+. They have helped me out a lot through these times managing my accounts for me as well helping me out in binds. They have an excellent fraud team with great customer service as well and will help you out with small low interest loans when you need. I like them because they are local and are not tied to big bank names and they don't need to be.

We had a great experience getting a home loan with Arvest Bank. Our loan officer Janie was amazing! She helped us with any question we had, was quick to respond, and went above and beyond to help us close in 30 days. I would definitely recommend using Arvest and requesting Janie.

Its not often you hear about how a smaller bank has worst service then the big guys, but Arvest Bank was able to prove that sometimes the improbable is very possible. When I moved to the Tulsa area, I wanted to have an account close and notice the very nice hours available so I decided to go with Arvest Bank. 95% of my banking is done through Capital One because of the online and phone availability, but wanted a smaller bank with local branches. As far as having a checking account went Arvest was able to supply me with the very basics, and didn't even give out "free" checks with the new account, but that wasn't a big deal since not much would be going out from my Arvest Account. 6 months later I foolishly decided to go through Arvest Bank for a home loan, and was quickly put in touch with Sara Dodson, who rushed us through everything without explaining, wouldn't take calls if we had questions, and didn't provide information until after the fact. There were times when I had shown up to the bank with questions and information for our home loan and was told that Sara was too busy and we would have to speak with another lady who couldn't answer our questions and said she didn't have a need for the information I had, only to receive an email 3 days later when out of town from Sara requesting the exact information brought into the bank before. Being that it was my first time buying a house I had many questions and wasn't sure what to expect, but I know that a bank doing your loan should be able to provide you with more answers then your real estate agent... if you are considering Arvest bank for any loan, just know they usually have higher rates then others I've talked to on home/auto, higher fees, but less service.

Sitting in the drive thru for 17 minutes to cash a check. No line, I was the only one here when I pulled up.

This is the worst Arvest I have been to. Really? Who writes a review about a bank? Well, when you are fed up of being treated like a piece of garbage, then it's time to type! Almost a year ago my dad died and I went to close/settle his account here. My mistake for picking the most convenient location to do this at. They could care less. There was absolutely no empathy what so ever for my loss, not that I need it from the bank anyway. I have used the drive thru a couple times since then and the ATM, no complaints until today! I went thru the ATM to make a deposit, as normal. I put my money in and then I get a receipt back stating my money could not be returned or deposited and to see my financial institute. WTF?! Okay, I understand the ATM is serviced by a third party but it is still Arvest's responsibility to reconcile the situation. I wait in a long line for about eight minutes. The teller was unapologetic and almost made me feel as if I were an inconvenience. She told me I have to fill out a dispute with the ATM company and to go see a service rep for help. Any question I asked her she replied with, "That's why you have to fill out a dispute". A monkey could do that jerks job better then her. I almost would have rather been dealing with robots! I sit down with the service rep and she isn't any better. After a few minutes of silence I let out a big sigh and then she apologizes for the inconvenience in and insincere tone. Every question I asked was responded like a memorized response. "We [Arvest] can't tell you the time frame. Monitor your account. Check back in 7-10 days" BS, BS, BS... is all I heard. Then as I was leaving she once again in her mandatory monotone voice apologized. Take your free popcorn and shove it up your...
