I saw the JEFFERSON AIRPLANE in the summer of  1968. an UNFORGETTABLE 
EXPERIENCE. the CONVENTION HALL
was Fabulous , extending from the boardwalk out  towards the ocean.... picturesque romantic setting, every detail of beauty in a concert theater as well actually excellent sound was there!
I HAVE TO REVISIT IT! I don't think that I'll be disappointed :) ♡ :)!  So, .. expect an update soon  ... ok!

Great Historic Place! Wonderful shops on the inside connected to a charming theater. Then a space for larger events. It is very nice how they kept this place alive. I remember when I was younger and went here. My thought at the time was.... This place has seen better days. 

Now I believe that the best days, will be the ones that are ahead. The history of the Asbury Park Convention Center is as strong as it ever was. It is continuing to get stronger and stronger day in.... And day out! It's the people of Asbury Park who will make sure of that!

I was there for the weekend and they had a Tree lighting event in town.  Took a walk on the boards Sunday morning and then the convention center. I hadn't been there in a while.  It's really Great what they've done and future plans!  It was a good weekend!

Combines the splendor of the past with the modern feel of today. Vendors and restaurants in the lobby. Live music and artsy films. The eclectic patrons, the boardwalk musicians, the smell of the ocean all combine to make it a visit for the senses!

We went to see Neil Degrasse Tyson speak. These may have been the most uncomfortable chairs I have ever paid to sit in. And tickets were far from cheap. The man was enjoyable, but the venue was not.

I've been to watch roller derby here, and it was a fun and reasonably-priced night. But I am leery about coming to another big-ticket sit down event here.
