Asbury is a welcoming faith community. Sunday morning worship: Traditional at 8:00 & 9:00. Contemporary Worship at 11:15. Wednesday Chapel at 6:15 pm.
The Asbury United Methodist Church has a rich history and a forward vision. Seven couples met in 1950 to envision and plan for a new church in Sioux Falls. The first Sunday worship was held on September 3, 1950 in the old chapel on the Sioux Falls College campus. Asbury has grown to over 575 members. The seeds that were planted over 60 years ago continue to grow and bear fruit.
Our thriving congregation is young and old, warm and friendly. Our worship includes traditional and contemporary services that are spiritually upbeat and positive. We have active programs in music, education and fellowship for all ages. We are in mission and ministry within the community and throughout the world.
Asbury United Methodist Church, as a community of faith, seeks to be spiritually alive and to encourage one another to be in Christ-centered ministry.
