The Presbytery of South Dakota is a higher governing body of the Presbyterian churches (USA) within the state of South Dakota. It is made of 60 worshipping communities.
The Presbytery of South Dakota exists to establish, equip and encourage congregations to do the work of Jesus Christ.
In partnership we:
Acknowledge in all things our dependence upon the sustaining and providing power of Christ's Spirit in our community of faith.
Exist to provide order and to nurture our life and the lives of our congregations.
Our mission as faithful stewards is to worship, study, witness, and serve so that the world may know and respond to God's reconciling love in Jesus Christ.
