Love Ashby Park. There's a playground for the very small kids and a regular play area. In the summer there is a nice wading pool here too. Parking can be hard to find during busy times of the day.

We love this park! There is play equipment for toddlers and older kids, which is nice. We love the spray pool and fountains to play in, and it's nice to have the restrooms to change the kids in when they are done playing in the water.

Best park for kids in Des Moines! There is a wading pool and fountains for kids to play. Safe areas around splash pad with 2 different playgrounds. Lots of benches and shaded spots, including shelter and restrooms. There is parking for about 15 cars otherwise, street parking is not lacking!

Great splash pad. We always get here at 10 when the water turns on before the crowd at 10:30. Good playground with separate areas for big kids and little kids!

Simple wading pool, Perfect for little guys. There are 2 playgrounds in the same vicinity that are fine. Plenty of tables and shade areas
