*** All Prospective Students*** I have been having the best experience EVER with Ashford University and this is my honest opinion. As I read these bad reviews the more I start to notice that the individuals who are posting CAN NOT be telling the entire story behind what completely happened on they're end and what part THEY had with everything . All of the staff have gone above and beyond with great customer service. My enrollment advisor was such a sweetheart and did not let me give up and she was very persistent and taught me alot which has been a huge part of my academic success, and my academic advisor was amazing as well. Financial Aid was great too. So to anyone considering Ashford University please do just keep in mind that its all about your attitude and outlook on things and what you choose to make of your experience, The tutors and instructor's were amazing as well no complaints at all ☺

I was asked to submit some paperwork. I submitted it a couple dozen times in 3 different formats. I called many times and always got one of two responses, "I don't know why you are being asked for this paperwork, do it anyway" or "I do not see where it has been submitted." Many months and many calls always the same result. Finally when I was being threatened with not being able to finish school I was told they had a dozen copies of the paperwork that were not completed properly. I completed it and submitted it a couple more times but was so frustrated I nearly quit anyway. I finally stopped when a professor refused to accomodate my disability! I am now being taken to collections. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!

This school I'm sure has flaws, who doesn't? Your going to have bad days, and people will walk into the facility on those bad days, and unfortunately experience a bad moment, therefore, give you a bad review. I am an online student, I don't get to walk into the school and see those bad moments, but, I have bad moments, and I have had Professors who work exceptionally well with my moments, and those who don't. This world isn't a perfect world, and that's okay. Ashford University has given me the confidence that I lost a long time ago. I love this school, so much so, that I went from being the student in High school years ago who couldn't get an A because I didn't believe in myself, to being an honor student here at Ashford. These Professors and counselors are truly amazing, and I am proud to be a part of Ashford University!

ASHFORD UNIVERSITY IS THE WORST PLACE TO TRY TO GET AN EDUCATION. THE DEGREES DON'T GET YOU ANYWHERE. THE FINANCIAL DEPARTMENT IS ONLY HELPFUL WHEN YOU TELL THEM YOU HAVE MONEY FOR THEM. THEY WILL BLOW YOUR PHONE UP WHEN TRYING TO ENROLL YOU. I WENT 3 MONTHS WITHOUT A CALL FROM ANYBODY. THEN I GET A CALL TELLING ME I OWE 2700.00 FOR 1 FAILED CLASS THAT WAS COMPLETELY BOGUS. I ACED THE SECOND PART OF THAT COURSE AND IT WAS THE SAME MATERIAL AND SAME INSTRUCTOR. THEY SET YOU UP TO FAIL AROUND 18 OR 19 MONTHS THAT WAY YOU DON'T MAKE IT TO YOUR SECOND YEAR. BUT YOU CAN IF YOU PAY THEM.

Online sucks, you can not get in touch with instructors and the new design of classroom is not friendly to users. Instructors make up their own policy and they have no rule for instructor to follow. advisers are never in office and no one replies to text or phone calls. I am spending a lot of money at a school that has no control over their online classes
