Immediately you get the feeling the front desk staff hate either you, their job, the school or themselves. The lady at the main desk had a slight attitude but the one in the library was completely awful. I walked in and wasn't even acknowledged. She was on a personal phone call and sounded like she was complaining about her current job or looking for a new one. It's a good thing I got there early because she took her sweet time getting around to me with a complete lack of urgency or timeliness...even though I was the ONLY person there. Very unprofessional. And every time I call to schedule a CLEP test I get put on hold forever! I am currently on hold now....plenty of time to write this review. Probably on another personal phone call. Thankfully I am only going here to take CLEP tests. No way I would tolerate this at my University. Study for a higher education elsewhere. I can't speak for the educators, but the desk people SUCK! They are the face of this campus and give the first impression. And that is enough to keep me FAR from this school.

My raiting is soley based on the campus and not the school itself. I have attended classes in Washington, DC and PG County, MD and by far Loudon campus is the nicest of them all. At least I am certain I will not get mugged or shot going to class. The professors at this campus seem to be a high caliber aside from one professor getting fired half way through the quarter for not following the syllabus. Overall I have been satisfied with this campus, the University as a whole is another story.

****Ratings for the Loudoun campus should only include on campus comments regarding the Ashburn location only.**** The staff at the Loudoun campus provide amazing assistance, I am attending my third quarter this Spring! I started a new page on Facebook for other students attending the Loudoun campus, who are in the Criminal Justice Degree program, please look for this page to sign up. Many students on campus are looking forward to attending more on campus courses in the Criminal Justice field, let's get together and arrange for more classes here at the Loudoun campus in Ashburn, VA. Thanks!!!

I am Disappointed in Strayer's actions with handling a medical withdraw. Strayer policy states that if you withdraw it will cost almost $1500 but I don't believe that should be applicable when you have a valid reason (with a letter from the doctor). Now not only do I have medical expenses to pay now I got $1500 Strayer is constantly harassing me about. I am dying and Strayer is taking the joy out of my life. Thank you Strayer, for being a corporation (not a school as Strayer staff always says) that is more interested in what in my wallet then in my education and life.
