Fresh, tasty, affordable, and little wait time. One of the best sushi places in DC. Nice friendly staff and quick service. They offer several different menu options from the traditional Asian cuisine to sashimi. Many of their sushi rolls are original and very tasty, yet they have the traditional rolls. Must try.

I was in the city for business and was staying pretty close to Sushi 54 so decided to give it a try without reading reviews. Unfortunately, it was a pretty awful experience. There were various fruit flies constantly flying around my food, and there was even a little fruit fly in my water. I had also ordered a lemonade which tasted nothing like lemonade and more like cleaning supplies. The actual sushi was mediocre and although it wasn’t horrible, it definitely wasn’t good by any means. Definitely go to a nicer place and don’t waste your time here.

A good affordable relatively quick place for dinner visits. My favorite dish is the drunken noodles.

I go here quite often with friends. The food is a bit on the pricier side, but is not bad quality at all. They also take GWorld, which is great for GW students.
