Man that Doctor Alexander was phenomenal! I was skeptical on what expect when I scheduled my appointment , they were so thorough in explaining me what was going to happen, and I swear not more than 5 minutes after Dr.Alex got my jaws numb (which was a breeze btw , much more pleasant that i had in the past) he said “okay you’re all done!” I thought he was joking, but I had all my surgery done in minutes . Amazing! I went in there fearful , and came out astonished! Will definitely recommend to my friends.

Our experience at Aspen Dental in West St. Paul was absolutely horrible. I would give it a 0 but the coordinating manager was helpful so she gets the 1 star. I went with my fiance Jeremy and during this time he was having severe tooth pain. He typically goes to a different dental clinic but they had no openings. The dentist we had at Aspen Dental (can't remember her name) was awful. She had an attitude the entire time and even though we kept telling her what we wanted done, she would completely ignore what we say and go back to saying what SHE thinks needs to be done or what would be a "good" idea. I will tell you, my fiance doesn't have the greatest teeth and has been to his primary dentist who gave him his options of either getting them capped or having them pulled to get dentures. She kept saying over and over again that it's a bad idea to pull them because there's "better" options out there. We repeatedly told her we did not want to cap them because of the cost. She knew how much pain my fiance was in yet didn't even offer him anything to relieve the pain. Anytime I would ask her a question I would immediately get a snarky response in return. At the end of the visit, we were going to just have the tooth pulled. The coordinating manager helped us with figuring out the costs but in the end, we just didn't feel it was the best decision to go through this dentist for any future visits/procedures. The dentist only had prescribed an antibiotic for the infection that my fiance did end up having and we had to ask for pain medication to get him through until the infection goes away. Clearly knowing he was in severe pain, she sent us home with Ibuprofen. IBUPROFEN. I have ibuprofen in my cupboard and when we went though the medications he was taking in the beginning Ibuprofen was one of those medications and we specifically told her it was not helping the pain. All I can say is our expereince at the dental clinic was absolutely horrible. If you want to be a dentist then you should enjoy your job, listen to your patients and be a respectful person. This dentist did none of these things.

After a little confusion on what I could get done for a certain amount of money Dr Ismail called me and we went threw everything and he cleared everything up. I went back to the office and Dr Ismail and the whole staff did a fantastic job and I very much look forward to my next visit to get things finished up It has now been a week since I got my partial put in and am as happy today as was last Friday when I could smile again, Dr Ismail and the staff were fantastic. Thank You Larry Thompson

I can't rave about the staff and the treatment I have experienced. I was in need of a full set of dentures. My first visit was the consult and exam. My second visit was for taking impressions. My third visit I received my full set of dentures which are temporary until I receive my permanent set in six months. I did get the best they offer and I can't be more happier with my new smile. I truly am a new person. From the first phone call to make my appointment to getting my dentures, I am 1000% satisfied. They were professional, helpful and kind. I could tell they really shared the joy I was feeling. I absolutely would recommend this office.

This is a great office with great people. Thet all have been very caring helpful etc. I had my upper teeth taken care of and the doc and staff did a great job making sure i was comfortable. Have gone back several other times anf still recieved excellent service. The only complaint I have is that not all their doctors feel that pain control is something that should be done. I had 5 or 6 teeth pulled at one time and the doc that i had said since it was a simple extraction i was to take tylenol(325mg) or some kind of anti-inflammatory drug to help with the pain. I explained to her that i am already taking that stuff and she was like just take it. So i thought i would give it a try so she couldnt say that i was uncooperative. Later i called the office and said it wasnt working and the pain was getting worse but the doc just said it was a simple extraction so keep taking the tylenol. Apparently she does not know that not all people are the same when it comes to dental work or cleanings or extractions. All people handle going to the dentist differently. Some have higher tolerances for pain and some are just scared to death to go to the dentist and some dont have any issue at all. If this doctor was the first one i had seen the first time I went there i probably wouldn't have gone back. If that had happened i never would have found out how caring and helpful most of them are. I will go back there but will only ask for the first doctor who i saw first. Sorry to say that this experience wasnt as good as the first one.
