I went In to get a check-up at the Aspen Dental in Fort Myers, FL ( Cleveland Ave) because I was having a severe pain in the Back bottom of gums. I went in and was offered a free exam and x-ray for new patient. I was done several x-rays and checked by hygienist and told that I had a severe Gum disease and needed a deep cleaning due to deep pockets causing me to become a Periodontal patient which means everything was more expensive now. They asked me to purchase a $125.00 toothbrush for my Oral care as well - thank god I did not. I was shocked to hear all this because I have never had issues so I called the dentist in Texas I had been going to since I was 6 yrs old and told them what I was told, being that I am in Florida and it is   almost impossible for me to go to them they requested I go to a private doctor to get a second opinion. I did go today I got x-trays and a whole exam and was told that I had absolutely nothing wrong with my teeth or gums, they are perfectly healthy I had just possibly hurt my gum while chewing something hard. I am absolutely disgusted by all the lies I was told at Aspen, I was even encourage to get Care Credit to pay for the $1,400.00 Procedure I needed to get done Immediately to take care of my gum disease. I will never recommend this place to anyone. All they want is money and do not care for the people. After this happened I read several bad reviews with very similar situations as mine. I really help this helps anyone who is looking for a Dentist in the area. Good Luck!

I wish I could give them 0 !! They clearly didn’t read my paper work and gave me X-rays when I’m pregnant! I will not go back to this place. I didn’t know you couldn’t get X-rays when you’re pregnant and when she was half way through  with my X-rays is when I saw the sign on the wall about being pregnant!

I went here for a routine cleaning and mind you I’ve never had a cavity until 6 months ago, only for them to tell me I have periodontal disease & 3 cavities now and before they would even clean my teeth I would need a deep gum cleaning and to come back every 3 months for other cleanings. I heard them tell another client the same exact thing in the space next to me. I was shocked that as a routine, every 6 month teeth cleaning person, who never has had bad teeth to hear so many awful things. I got a bad feeling and left. I went to another dentist 3 days later and they told me I have almost perfect teeth and no cavities. They had no other recommendations other than the normal 6 month routine cleanings. 

I again say DO NOT GO HERE! All they want is your $$$ and do not care about how your teeth really are.

Dental Hygienist was awesome, but financial customer service was a nightmare! I paid what I was coming in for and when service was completed the cost went up over a hundred dollars. The financial analysts couldn’t figure it out and even quoted me more for my next appt. Denist recommendation the most to profit them. I cannot afford their fees even with insurance. No crown or implants! Just fix what is needed with a good band aide!!!

I've always been nervous about going to the dentist. I felt comfortable here. I think the tvs attached to the dentist chairs help because you are distracted by that. The staff is very nice. They take the time to explain things and answer any questions you have. I really felt at ease here.
