Loved it! Great scenery, easy access to the lake to swim,  nice place for kids to run around with chipmunks everywhere. Appreciated friendly and knowledgeable camp host Karen. Can't wait to go again next year!

If this place wasn't so far off the main road I would've given it five stars. But it's remoteness makes it unique, private and serene, at least when we were there last August 2016. 
We came later in the evening and left early morning , but the time in between was pleasant and incredible for early-morning, quiet walks along the lake. 
The host was a hoot, & fun to talk to as we quickly started up a fire and made dinner. No pesky animals until Bluejay & squirrels the next morning ha ha I'd highly recommend this place, as an out-of-the-way retreat. We were one of the few in the campground so maybe it's more active earlier in the summer.

This place is great! Our site was looking right at the water. Spacious sites with a table and a fire ring. The host,  Karen, is super nice. Firewood is sold on site for an excellent price. Bathrooms are cleaner than many many others I've ever been to. Eagle Lake marina is a short walk for a well stocked store,  grill open daily except Monday and Tuesday, showers and laundry. We would definitely stay here again.
