Absolutely stunning location to view the Great American Eclipse! I imagine it would also be a lovely place just to spend time.

There is so much peace just sitting and watching the sun set. Even the deers seem at peace there. I just hope people will not distroy such a wonderful place to be able to sit and relax visit with friends and have picnics, just remember to pickup after yourself so others can enjoy it too.

I was surprised that it wasn't as hard as I expected after reading reviews saying that it is not good for hiking. I found it easy and worth the hiking. There was one person biking and we had to step off the trail but he was very pleasant and didn't mind that we were sharing the trail with bikers. The only thing I found a bit hard was navigating the trail as it isn't very clearly marked. The trails have a lot of turns but we made it ok. It was late when we started and getting dark quick, the biker even kind of waited to make sure we made it out ok. Nice Trail and I will be back again, next time just earlier.

Pretty park, especially the point out in the reservoir. Watched the 2017 Eclipse from here (perfect viewing spot).

It's a beautiful park, 3 sides are old hickory lake. People are very respectful of the park, no litter, no graffiti, no music. Just fish and enjoy the beauty of Tennessee
