My experience was not good! There was a big table and the server brought over two dishes that looked really good. I asked him what he just served his answer to me was " I just served food, a lot of food"!! So I said what about the last two dishes because they looked good. His response was gyros! I wound up ordering the beef kabobs! I said that I wanted it cooked medium. His response was "I don't know , I will see!! What kind of an answer is that? He brought my beef kabobs and my daughters chicken kabobs. Hers were ok. My beef was well done and super tough! I sent it back and he brought me another order of beef kabobs that were a tiny bit better. How hard is it to cook beef the way a customer asked? We drove 40 minutes and had a bad experience! I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone!!

Had lunch on 7/11/17. Food arrived quickly and was delicious!! Best authentic Greek taste I've had in a restaurant. Best of all was service ! Fast, friendly, and happy personality ! Sara was our server and was awesome!! A shame there isn't a sixth star 😂 Thank you !

Decent Greek food. However, server doesn't have any personality & could not recall our beverages; the fact that they do not have any other customers at that time. Quiet place.. Locals probably hang out somewhere more interesting.

Gyro's good,Very big. nice wine selection. The guy, who seems like the owner, waiting tables is not the most personable. Price is good too. No chicken shawarma :/.

Really just awful. This restaurant was recommended by a cashier at a nearby shop so we tried to give this restaurant the benefit of the doubt. When we walked in, however, it didn't smell clean nor have a clean appearance. One customer was eating, the dining room was otherwise empty. We came from the Orlando area where we get authentic, fresh, tasty Greek fare in Altamonte Springs so we have something to compare it with. The food at Athena Restaurant looked and tasted old and the waiter was unfriendly and appeared miserable. We ordered calamari for an appetizer...It was tough-overcooked. We ordered a beer and two softdrinks. We shared two combo platters and the meat was dry and all the dishes seemed old. We were wondering if they just microwaved if before serving. The salad was fine but altogether it's not worth the price. We paid $58 for this hugely disappointing meal. I really tried to like it. It's just not good Greek.
