I needed to rent a unit when I was moving back home for the summer, there was literally no storage units left in Athens, the lady in the office Booklyn helped to locate a unit and set me up no problem. Thank you so much.

Best storage in Athens

I was misled to believe that should I vacate my unit in the middle of the month, I would only have to pay for the days I needed the unit. This is completely FALSE. If you need your storage unit ANY day over the first of the month, you are forced to pay rent for the ENTIRE month.

Also, no big surprise but the unit I received was very dirty. I had to sweep/clean it before I felt comfortable leaving my furniture there.

And the icing on the cake... when I signed up for the unit and tried to pay with a credit card, I was told there would be a five dollar "convenience fee" tacked on to the bill. This is completely illegal as no independent business can make up a fee for using a credit card. I called my credit card company to report Athens Self Storage.

I highly recommend trying somewhere else.
