Brisket tacos were cold but good. The drinks were good but service was horrible, we sat at a table for 5 minutes, no Waiter came near, they were huddled chatting, so we moved to bar, had to wait another 5 minutes to be acknowledge and another 5 to place an order for two drinks. WE WERE THE ONLY PEOPLE AT THE BAR.! The restaurant was half full! Looks like the employees manage rhenselves, which means huddle, chat..BREAK!

Food was pretty good, but was really annoying to have everybody's entrees at the table brought at different times, with seemingly no effort at all put into trying to serve us together.... That really detracted from the meal.

One side is a restaurant, the other side is a bar. Bartenders make good drinks and the food is very good for a bar. Fried chicken (boneless) and portobello sandwich are reliably good. Some of the regulars have been coming here since the mid 80s. My fave intown bar.

One of the best bars in the Highlands area. Local and authentic. Love it.
