I was a guest to a friend staying here. I am an avid camper and came prepared. Staying the day for new required, cooler, back pack, chair and dry goods bag. I had to carry all my stuff around the entire camp ground. Not allowed to bring my car in the site at all. P.A. system is absolutely high school and not necessary. Made it feel like I was just being watched and monitored a little to closely. Everything you do cost extra. It's annoying that the crappy mini golf isn't included. Staff when I called didn't mention anything about cash only. When I arrived I had found out it was cash only and I had to turn around to go get money. Almost not worth coming as a guest. The water slide is the only aspect of the camp ground that makes it enjoyable. Sites are super small and the bugs are rather annoying. Bathrooms are clean so that's a plus.

I love this campground. It has a lot of trees and the campsites are surrounded by trees so it feels more like camping then other campgrounds. There is a lot for the kids to do and all of it is free. Including a movie, mini golf and a water slide. Can't wait to go back next summer.

Staff or owners, whoever checked us in, we're great. Site was decent, just a bit small and unusual setup with location of sewage in the front. Campground and people.were really nice and we will return.

Definitely will not be returning. We paid $45 per night for full hook-up with our 5th wheel camper. It's not an outrageous price, generally speaking, but this place does not justify the cost. The entrance and exit use an automatic gate system, and entry requires a badge that you're issued upon check-in. All of this would make you think that you will be going into a really well kept campground. Not the case. Weeds are overgrown all over, and the seasonal camping lots are not kept clean. Almost looks like an RV salvage yard. Then there's the rules. Can't bring your own firewood, and they spray paint the wood they sell to make sure they can see whether you bought theirs or not. This place is the furthest from being guest friendly as possible. The guest charge is $7 per person, per day, and you can't park the extra vehicle on the site. If the place was packed, I could see being strict on this rule, but this certainly was not the case. Three sites next to us were vacant the whole time. Also, my guests that were visiting consisted of 2 adults and their 2 year old child. They had to argue with the office staff in order to be allowed to drive back and drop the family off, along with chairs and food supplies for the day. The staff expected them to just walk it...all the way around the big pond, way back to the far lot we were on. It was actually an issue! They actually said, "Are you trying to get me fired?" and "Just make sure you come back out after dropping them off!" They have loud speakers attached to the side of the check-in office and will just yell over the PA to anyone disobeying a rule in the slightest way, loud enough for the whole park to hear. The office staff is also quite rude, and sarcastic. It definitely doesn't feel like you're a guest that's paying good money to stay there. Feels more like you're a prisoner in some camp, and you better NOT step out of line. Keep in mind that we're not rowdy, and we're families with 2 year old kids. We just wanted a relaxed camping trip to visit some local friends from Dryden. These people need to go stay in other campgrounds charging these rates, and see what it's supposed to be like. It's little wonder that the reviews are 3.3 out of 5 at the time of this review, and now dropping.
