Well done. All the other restaurants were packed with long wait lines. We stopped here and happy we did. Atmosphere, service and food were all superb. It was a quaint, family atmosphere perfect for a relaxing evening.

Delicious and fresh!!!!! I tried the Sangria, Chef's Eggplant Special, the oven baked pita bread and the amazing butter. I also tried the Seafood and Octopus Salad. Service was great and the prices are fair. Glad to have you in Newmarket.

This is a wonderful family owned restaurant. The atmosphere and ambience is bar none! The wait staff is attentive, friendly, the service excellent. And the food is absolutely delicious!! Aubergine is now my "go-to" restaurant when I am in Newmarket. Definitely a FIVE STAR rating!!

A group of four friends celebrating two birthdays chose this restaurant even after reading the some of the reviews. None of us had every been here and we wanted to try something new. We are so glad we ate here. Everything was awesome. From the delicious food, to the service, to the decor. We ordered several appetizers to share and they did not disappoint. We had the Grilled Calamari Salad, Falafel, Hummus, the Aubergine Chef Special, the Shepherd Salad and Sweet Potato Fries. Everything was fresh and delicious. The service was also great. We were served hot bread with a garlic spread soon after we arrived, and we devoured that. The server was also very prompt and helpful with any of our questions. She overheard us talking about the birthdays, and at the end of the meal brought out a tiramisu for each birthday girl with a candle. Very thoughtful and much appreciated. The restaurant itself is very comfortable, cozy and casual. I would highly recommend coming here (and have already told several friends). If you do go, be sure to order the Aubergine Chef Special. I will definitely be back.
