A great, friendly neighborhood hardware store. They have just about everything thing you need and more. Great paint section and a deep selection of individual hardware. Not the cheapest, compared to the big box store, but the convenience and personal service is worth the small premium.

If you want to be questioned if you need help and suspected of stealing when you walk in the door by a naggy old lady or two this is your store.Id rather browse, but I had bought a 25 watt lightbulb for a rediculous 4.99..being rung up and I took a dime from the "give a penny take a penny" thing..and she goes"did you need our change?" If I did, would it matter to you? trying to embarrass me for being poor...So at you know the age if 38 I had to put a niggling dime back in the "give a penny rake a penny" thing by the register..even though I was a paying customer, buying an overpriced lightbulb.

Aubuchon hardware is convenient to my home in Clinton. They consistently have items that I need. Employees are always friendly and available to assist. My favorite area in the store is the Clearance section where I usually find a useful item.

We just moved to Clinton two weeks ago. We went into the store to buy a shovel and ended up finding chairs, a table and a drink cooler on clearance. We wanted to buy them but couldn't fit them in our car and asked if we could come pick them up later. An employer offered to drop them off for us later in the day as he had a truck. I was amazed by his generosity. We were given a percentage off of the clearance price for our items and a couple hours later our furniture was dropped off at our house. We tried to give the employee money but he would not take it. This kind good deed really made us feel welcome in this city. So glad we moved here, and can't wait to continue to be a customer.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Was asked if I wanted help carrying bags of sand to my car in the ice and rain today, top notch employees from what I can tell.
