I have been a customer at this store for years.  I am now very dissatisfied with the way they treat me and their new customers (friends) that I have sent to the Hinsdale store.  Rude is putting it mildly.  If you pay top dollar for top quality products then you should get top quality service from Bruce and his employees.  They just don't care about the customer like they did in the early years of the store.  All they care about now is getting your money.  They don't care anymore about providing excellent customer service like they once did.  Much friendlier and better service in their other locations.  I don't need their bad stuck up attitudes.  I won't ever shop in the Hinsdale store ever again.

I walked in there with a buddy of mine to look at the new B&W Diamond series and did not have a pleasant experience at all. First of all, I look very young for my age even though I'm over 30 so maybe they thought I was a kid wasting their time. However, not very smart business sense to treat any potential customer they way they did regardless of age. Anyways, I was in there to upgrade my older Nautilus 803's to perhaps 803 Diamonds or 803D's (older series) and when I was looking at a pair they had in there showroom a salesman there yeld in a very angry tone "Don't touch those, their a customers!". I said sorry and walked out. The funny thing is, those speakers had a tag on them that said "demonstrators $6000", not anywhere on the speakers did it say sold or have a customers name on them. Why in the heck would you store a customer's speakers on the sales floor next to the others? Obviously after being treated like that we glady left there sales floor and purchased a new set from Barrett's Home Theater (much friendlier sales staff) and a got a great deal to boot!
