My husband went to Audubon Dental Group on a Friday with a broken tooth that had been hurting him for two days. The doctor charged him $200 and all he did was prescribe clindaymyacin and no painkillers, but did give him a treatment plan for a lower denture. He also had my husband go through a credit application while he was in incredible pain. They turned him out of the office on 3:30 on a Friday after telling him - and later me - that he had "multiple abscesses" in his lower mouth and would need to come back next week to have any procedure done. On top of not immediately treating the pain with a painkiller or offering to numb his mouth, they told him to take 800mg of Advil along with an extra-strength Tylenol, telling him that would act like a narcotic and not upset his stomach. What?!!? I have an upper denture and I have been through this same thing. I have NEVER been told to take Advil and Tylenol together, but to alternate them. I called my own dentist's after-hours number and they told me while they could not prescribe him anything for the weekend because he was not a patient, that they put his health at risk advising him to take high doses of ibuprofen before ANY procedure because it is a blood thinner. The combination of Advil and Tylenol, also, they said, is very likely to upset the lining of his stomach -- AND IT DID. You do not turn a patient in need of a lower denture who has multiple absceses out of the office with no way to immediately address the pain except to take the SAME medications he takes ON A NORMAL DAY to help address the aches and pains in his mouth. And then to charge $200? The woman I spoke to also told me the surgeon she also works for often prescribes patients the combo of Advil and Tylenol instead of narcotics. I have been a medical technician and my aunt is an RN and NO SURGEON WE HAVE EVER HEARD OF WOULD PRESCRIBE A POST-SURGICAL PATIENT A BLOOD THINNER FOR PAIN!! I think lots of dentists are just knee-jerk reacting to all this news about the opioid crisis and as a result, patients in legitimate need of short-term pain treatment don't get it. At least offer to numb the patient if you won't prescribe a weekend's worth of pain medication. Never going back. please be careful if you are taking high doses of Advil less than 10 days before any procedure because it is a blood thinner and ask any doctor/dentist about the potential health risks.

Amazing doctors, hygienists, and staff. Very helpful and friendly and a warm welcoming atmosphere. I would recommend this office to anyone. Two locations and very accommodating hours.

I have never loved being in a dentist office more! This practice has three wonderful doctors. The front desk staff is always smiling and knows what they're doing. They are always quick to find a way to help you in anyway. I would recommend this office to anyone!
