Its okay, but it's really about the money and it really isn't diverse. Financial is incredibly stingy and tried to give little money as possible, even though the tuition was raised $1000 from one year to the next they are trying to give me less money, I had to get a scholarship which wasn't offered to me, I had to look up options to get more money. Also this school is bias students who can afford to go there get more scholarship money than students who cannot afford it. If you have to withdraw from a course for serious reasons that allow you the withdrawal the school still keeps your money and doesn't reimburse you. The campus is not diverse, it is predominately white and you can count the number of professors of color on your hand. The students of color have there own activities and the white students have there activities rarely do you see them come together for anything, except theater which is still predominately white. They really are not helpful at all when it comes to academics, you may never hear from or meet you advisor unless you schedule to meet them for a reason, they do not go out there way or anything. Also financial aid doesn't disburse your money until your like 2-3 weeks into the semester so you better have you own money to buy books or else your be forced to purchase overpriced books from the bookstore which the employees are not diverse either, there was literally one person of color working there, but the school claims to be diverse. Plus, the students on campus are not very friendly to new students everyone has there cliques, so expect to be on campus alone first semester unless you live on campus, maybe you can be fortunate enough to find remotes. Also housing is extremely overpriced, it would be cheaper to get an apartment next to the campus. The theater department seems to be nice and they are about as diverse as Augsburg gets. Plus, there is also drugs on campus, it actually isn't a smoke free, drug free and alcohol free campus, and campus police would know that if they didn't spend all there time giving students tickets for being parked a 1-hour sign for a minute too long. The campus police literally will not help the students with anything, they just like giving tickets when they know the campus is overcrowded and there are no parking spaces, plus the school will sell more parking permits than there is parking spots, so you could have a parking permit, but all the spots could be filled so you won't be able to park anywhere on campus. The food is bad in the cafeteria and there isn't much variety to eat nearby. I literally am only at this school because I was duped that the program I wanted to study was great at augsburg, I found out that wasn't true, they have outdated equipment and sometimes teachers don't even show up to class. If I transfer I risk not being able to graduate on time, ugh.

I don't attend this school but I came here for a Youth Summit group in highschool. The students who helped us were all so kind and caring. We did a charity project for a Mosque that was wrongfully destroyed.

Very impressed with admissions staff providing plenty of personalized help and information. Loved the personal tour from the LAX coach and the time she took to answer questions and get us accustomed to what to expect next fall. I am confident this is the best choice for our daughter.
