Horrible care. the office and doctor are so disorganized it took me three weeks for them to make a simple Rx change (they wrote it for 60 pills, insurance would only cover 30) among several other issues I encountered. I would never recommend

I can not rave about Julia Schumacher enough. I have been seeing her at this location for years and she is always kind, professional, and knowledgeable.  Highly recommend seeing her!

I recently got full coverage health insurance through my employer (for the first time in my adult life) so I went in for a dermatology check-up to check on some sun spots/potential sun exposure lesions. 

I asked billing if the check-up would be covered by my insurance and they said it would. Come to find it was not and after being told everything looked good, I got a bill for $350. Had I known it would cost me this much for a simple check-up I wouldn't have gone in. 

Then when trying to address the bill and apply HSA money or payments, I was put on hold for 25+ minutes each time in the middle of my work day. I'm lucky I even got to call them 4-5 times under these circumstances because clearly I can't get any work done when this is happening. The billing staff has been very rude, unhelpful, dropped the call, and seemingly confused as to how to apply my past and present insurance. What can they do? Their role requires the application of patient's insurance policies, not just acting as puerile phone cashiers. I blame this on the Aurora Health establishment and will be avoiding them henceforth at all costs (no pun intended).

This is not a particularly high-traffic/high-volume clinic. Not making info transparent, getting a fat bill as a result, and then making it absolutely impossible to pay it is a sorry excuse for accessible healthcare in my opinion. I found this experience very frustrating and financially harmful. If this is how they treat patients with health insurance, I can imagine they treat those without it 10x worse. Ready to boycott and tell everyone I know to do the same if possible.
