Austral is awesome! I always get very good device and exactly what I ask for. When my first stylist moved away I switched to another in the same salon and there was no change in the quality of service -- rare! The products they use and sell are designed with the health of your hair in mind. Plus, for a place that's so upscale they're very approachable and welcoming; in the year I've been going here I've never once gone and not been asked if I wanted a coffee or water.

Austral is amazing! A friend recommended it to me a couple years ago and it's been my only salon that I go to when I'm in Columbia! My usual stylist is Emily (but they are all great)! Emily is a color genius and can basically make anyone look good in any color. I trust her and her skills enough to come in and just ask her what direction she thinks I should go because her recommendations are always sound! I also love this place because they are so customer service oriented and they don't try to aggressively push their products on you (which really saves you from awkward declinations, not that they are bad products but if you're on a college budget it's a splurge). They always offer you a beverage (tea, coffee, wine 🙂) and if you have to wait it's never long. Definitely recommend 👍🏼

I had a box dye disaster my husband called and got me an appointment with Emily. I walked in looking like Ronald McDonald and walked out looking like a super model!! Emily is amazing she definitely gained a new client today!! Thank you so Austral Salon and Emily!! Never using box dye again ever!!!

I absolutely love this salon! The staff is extremely helpful and always willing to take time to answer all of your questions. From the moment we walked through the door we were greeted by a smiling and friendly staff member, who after checking us in immediately offered us coffee or a bottle of water. The wait time for our stylist's were extremely short.My mother-in-law and I visited today and we were both extremely pleased with our results. She saw Tim and I saw Felicia. Tim gave my MIL a cute bob that gave her hair body and bounce and complimented her face shape.Felicia lightened my hair from black to brown (the black was from a bad experience at another salon) she completely corrected my color and turned it into a beautiful chocolate brown. What I love most about this salon and staff is that not only do they want me to be happy with my look, but they are concerned with the health of my hair. I did purchase one of the products that they offer, Felicia used it in my hair during the styling process, it made it smooth and shiny and it was extremely light weight. It's a Phyto product. It is repairing serum, when you stop by definitely grab a bottle! In addition to that, she gave me an updated cut that I love! I am very pleased with this salon we have both scheduled future appointments with Felicia and Tim. We can not wait to return!
