After a disastrous color job at another salon, I scheduled an appointment here- thankfully they were able to fit me in the same day due to a cancellation. Stephanie completely transformed my hair, it looks amazing now and I couldn't be happier! The customer service from the rest of the staff and the hair products are exceptional as well. I will definitely be returning!

Nikita is the BEST.. INCREDIBLY TALENTED & the ENTIRE STAFF IS FRIENDLY!!!! The Owner Laura is friendly & has high standards for her employees!!!! If I could give 10 STARS I Would!!!! Glad I Found a GREAT HAIRDRESSER!!!!

I was scheduled for hair cut with Nikita, I've explained briefly over the phone, that my hair had some serous damage from many years of bleaching and if possible I would like to get an advice of what needs to be done ( color/conditioning/cut etc.) Nikita not only cut them as scheduled, she deep conditioned them and changed my color to reach brown! It's been two days since my cut, after washing my hair and letting them dry ( without using a blow dryer or any cosmetics) they look amazing! I don't think my hair was ever cut so good! I couldn't be happier! I've walked in with no hope and walked out looking and feeling like million$!!! All stuff is Amazing! Every person introduced themselves to me and made me feel very important and welcome:) because I knew a lot work was done I have expected to pay a lot... Well another nice surprise! I'm not only a customer now, I'm a fun! Thank you

My favorite hair salon in Columbia, hands down. I highly recommend Stephanie. She is very good at color, styling and cutting. My hair is extremely long and equally extremely BLONDE. Stephanie is able to keep the integrity of my hair while helping me to still be able to reach the level of blonde I prefer. The staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. The carry oribe, aquage and deva curl products.

By far the best salon I have ever been to. The second you walk into the door, they will great with you extremely pleasant attitudes and smiles. At the beginning and throughout your appointment they will ask if they can get you anything (water, coffee, etc.). To me, that means they care about their customers overall needs and experience. I had Stephanie as my stylist. I would 100% recommend her. I had somewhat "botched" my hair, so she had a little bit of work to do- making the cut even and bringing the color back to a tone that suited my skin tone. I showed her my before and after pictures and then explained to her what I was looking for. Boy, did she deliver! I went in there looking like a mess and came out with my hair looking and feeling better than ever. They really do listen to how you want your hair to look in the end. They take that into consideration and work with you to achieve your ultimate goal. Nikita is also very, very nice. She was the stylist who consulted me before my actual appointment. Again, very knowledgeable, personable, and pleasant. I will say that it took three weeks to get me in the chair to fix my hair. At first, it kinda bugged me, but after the experience I have had today, I would wait four months to get my hair done at Shine Hair & Design Studio. Totally worth the 5 stars.
