Nice place to have German food. I ordered 'Wurst combination'. It was basically three different types of sausages. It was really good. Ambience is nice and soothing. Service was also nice.

Great authentic German food. The atmosphere is friendly but can be loud as it has a bar and sports on tv. The lack of acoustic tile also makes it an acoustically live room, but fun none the less. The farmers feast special is wonderful, a lot of food. I suggest the red cabbage (best I ever had) and the spatzle is also very good. They also, oddly, sometimes have Irish nights!  Soups are also good here and they have snapper all the time. The desserts are the only area that could use a little expansion and updating.

Great food, great atmosphere, great service, great value!  Austrian Village is always a delight and definitely my top pick for food in this area.

The menu is filled with a wonderful variety of Germanic classics like schnitzel, wurst, rouladen and sauerbraten.  My favorite thing is to get the stuffed schnitzel with a double order of pickled beets and then I pour the juice from the beets over the schnitzel and let it soak in.  It compliments the flavors of the schnitzel quite nicely.  

If you're in the mood for a variety, there's a handful of dishes to meet your needs, like the farmer's feast, which features knockwurst, pork loin and smoked butt.  They also have specials throughout the year that are always worth looking at.  Tonight, I had a Celtic schnitzel (which was covered in cheese onions and spinach) with a side of colcannon.  The colcannon was so deliciously authentic that I would honestly say it was better than many Irish restaurants in the area.  I always knew the food here was excellent but they keep surprising me time and again!

The truly great thing about Austrian Village, though, is the people.  The staff here are friendly, eager to help and exceedingly efficient, from the hostess to the waitresses to the busboys.  In terms of the environment, I'd also say it's a great group of people.  It's not like I see the same people every time I go there but the restaurant seems to draw in a cheerful crowd of good-natured people.  A lot of the time it can be loud but it's a good kind of loud - the sound of lively conversation.  It's a fantastic place to go with a group, be it family or friends!

The food here is great! The service was not the best... waitress rarely visited the table to ask for refills, check, etc.

Authentic, genuine, warm. Quality Germanic beers & cuisine in a family-friendly, welcoming environment. Great service, too. Not pushing boundaries, but very much as-advertised & worth a visit...and your repeat business.
