I had quite a few issues with my car that I wanted to get checked out, so I went here on account of a friend's recommendation. Auto ER was good about taking my keys and holding my car until I was ready to pick it up, and I like that they were willing to e-mail me a statement of issues and costs before deciding whether or not I wanted work done by them. 

Overall, I didn't get work done here for two reasons: the parts are overpriced to compensate for the NAPA warranty, and they charged me $50 to look into my check engine light but told me I needed to pay additional fees to get the issue fully diagnosed (which I was warned might happen but hoped wouldn't as you can get codes read for free at other establishments). Customer service was fine, but I simply wasn't comfortable getting my work done here. 

I'm unhappy that I received an unsolicited call from the company in regards my google rating. They pressed me to give a reason for the rating, then asked me to take it down because I didn't feel comfortable giving a real answer after being put on the spot. I answered/called back because I thought they wanted to speak about my car, it's unprofessional to call someone about the rating they gave you online.

Avoid this shop! Took my car for replacing one engine part. I was told that the part has been replaced and everything is working now. It turns out that part was put in incorrectly and two main bolts were not even installed. Three different auto repair shops looked a the repair and all said that they have never seen such a bad job. This badly put part caused  $1,000 damage to two other parts and this repair shop refuses to take responsibility for their shoddy job. Friendly advice, AVOID Auto ER on Archer Road, Gainesville, FL.

The team at AutoER are professional and get the job done right.  This is my go to for automotive service, I highly recommend this company

I wanna come in just post this. My car was wreck and I didn’t kno what to do. Crazy part was I was lost confused and scared. I called auto Er and a nice voice answered (Bobby). I explain to him the issue and when he got my Baby he did what I asked information wasn’t what I wanted to hear. I begin to cry just cry I was losing everything again. Tell me what auto place lets you cry on the phone. Don’t kno one do you well I do AUTO ER. He was patient with me and just told me to Wait in see wat the insurance says. So I begin to wait..........Still waiting but so far I’m giving him Five stars just for his patience....😢💜😢

First visit, called around they had an opening for an oil change. Waited ~30m and oil change / inspection took another 30-45m; waiting area was decent though and had drinks/snacks. Staff seemed down to earth and I never felt pressured.

They recommended coming back for several things, not a mechanic, but seemed mostly legit. They took me back into the garage to point some things out.

Will probably be back; reserving 4-5 star rating until I get some real work done there.
