Clean, easy to locate items I wanted but no one on the floor to help explain the difference in brands/products. All employees seemed to be behind the counter despite the the fact that all-time the customers were on the floor. On the other hand, once I did decide what I wanted, it was a quick checkout.

The assistant manager was very helpful and helped me with everything I needed.  Its great that they have loaner tools to get the job done.

The AutoZone off Mission Gorge called over to verify that the part I wanted was there and that they would hold it.  I drove over to pick up the part and mentioned the phone call, but everyone looked at each other like it had never happened.  I found the part on the shelf on my own, but was a little disappointed that at one location they were going the extra mile and at the other they weren't.

These guys are always nice. I always feel stupid being a 6ft guy walking in knowing NOTHING about cars, but they don't ever make me feel that way. They've always got what I need, or offer to order it. With a 2002 VW Golf, I've been in to visit quite a bit lately. Overall great place to get some answers and they've got a good selection in store.
