Avanti Italian Bistro & Bar prides itself on serving Pasadena fresh, handcrafted Italian dishes. Guests dine surrounded by warm brick walls, dark wood beams, and elegant chandeliers illuminating the tables with a welcoming glow. Our full bar can whip up any cocktail you desire and we’re sure it will pair well with one of our gourmet pizzas. The dough is especially formulated to accent the natural oak wood flavor from the Italian oven. If pasta is more to your taste, it’s all made-to-order -- even the sauces. Steak, fish, chicken, and other options are available on our menu as well.

BEST PLACE EVER! First - I remember the first week they opened (on Lake) years ago. The food was SO good and the owner (Bobby) was always SO kind. Also, they were one of the first places around to do wood-fired pizza. Their first location was very casual - this location: absolutely beautiful. Elegant without being stuffy, spacious, even a patio and a fireplace. Ricardo and the rest of the staff (waiters and bartenders) are always incredibly friendly, the service fantastic, and the pizzas & pasta's: AMAZE. We always recommend Avanti to out of town guests - they always rave. We were meant to have our wedding dinner here....things got a bit de-railed and Bobby was so gracious! Avanti remains home-base for all of our celebrations when we're in LA. Go - you'll love it!

Superb is a word that describes Avanti. Superb service, food, location and atmosphere. Thank you to the team at Avanti, lead by Bobby, making our special event even more memorable.

Delightful dinner. Older crowd but classic. Pleased life ones as well as couples and picky eaters.

Good food and service. Friendly staff, helpful and welcoming. Parking is limited and the inside space can get loud when full.

We had a great anniversary dinner at Avanti. Keith was an amazing server, very courteous and professional. We had pesto pasta and from the garden pizza, which were both delicious. The meal comes with several kinds of free bread, which was perfectly garlicky without being oily. I loved it and would definitely come again.
