Upon arrival, Waitress A(tall thin Asian with short hair), nearly knocked over my son and I, to greet the family behind us who seemed to know Waitress A very well, as we were being seated by waitress B. Waitress A stops Waitress B and  stated that the family, who was behind us, needed to be seated first,for what reason I don't know. We took our seats and the other family were seated elsewhere. As we sat for about 13 minutes, without being acknowledged by anyone, we noticed the family that was behind us and seated after us, were being served drinks and having their order taken. 

It took us to stand up and head for the door to finally be acknowledged. Hopefully, it wasn't due to racism because we are a black family.

If you like Bad Service! Uncooked Food! Waiting over 45minutes for your Food! an Not Getting what you Order! Then Go There!

The only reason we tried that restaurant was because that guy on channel 5, said it was great!, but it is not, it is Bad Service! Uncooked Food! Waiting over 45minutes for your Food! an Not Getting what you Order! I would never believe that channel 5 guys reviews. 

The main reason I taken to write this review, is for the benefit of my Family an Friends, Knowledge is Power, and I want to save you from ruining your dining experience, and wasting your valuable time. 

The service was terrible, I had to serve my self coffee and get napkins.After we sat down,  it took them over 20minutes, to actual acknowledge are presents.

I ordered the pork-chop breakfast and my wife requested the ham an cheese sandwich with fries.
It took them over 45 minutes to bring to serve the food.
My pork-chops where not cooked! I had to send it back to be recooked, so I had to wait another 20 minutes.
Then when we were about to leave my wife mentioned, there was no ham in her ham an cheese sandwich.

With coffee and my wife Hermosa, the bill was like $47.00, for bad service, bad food and having to serve my self coffee!

Service, good, staff, and comfort excellent.  Have been frequenting this Cafe from when they were originally in Sierra Madre off of Michelinda and Sierra Madre Blvd, and then to Monrovia.  Then finally back to Sierra Madre.  I will continue to patron as they're excellent in everyway.

Great food, excellent service. Kind of expensive, but worth it. I remember when they started out at that Hastings Ranch location, and they are just as grant now as they were back then. I haven't been to the Monrovia location yet, but since it is the same owner/operator, I'm sure it's just as excellent.

Great breakfast, my only gripe were the pancakes. It seemed that might of used to many eggs in their batter that day that it made them tough to chew.
