We engaged Avenue B's services for an extensive remodel of a 1930's bungalow home. Our initial attraction to the company was based on their website content which displayed a refreshing blend of an old home with the contemporary feel of the way we live in the modern world. Avenue B Development achieved this for us and then some. Jeff and his team were communicative throughout the entire process and always responsive to text, phone and email. They were able to add their perspective to the project without taking away from our vision. Our project from design with our architect to completed move in date lasted almost 2 years. They met all deadlines, effortlessly navigated a few issues that came up along the way and completed the project on time, on spec and on budget. Our overall experience was refreshing amidst a process that has a reputation of being stressful and exhausting.

We hired Avenue B to build a guest house for us, and we've been thrilled with their work. The quality of the final project exceeded our expectations, which were already very high; before hiring them, we had admired several houses they renovated and considered purchasing one of their homes. They gave us a very competitive estimate and completed the project on budget. Throughout the project they were extremely responsive, always returning phone calls and answering emails within a few hours, and they kept us up to date on developments affecting the construction schedule. Avenue B is very easy to work with and does very high-end work. We plan to use them on our next construction project and recommend them without reservation.

Avenue B renovated the kitchen in our 1978-built home. Our starting point was taking out a drop-down ceiling with out-dated light fixture that made the room feel old and claustrophobic. From there it was new cabinets and drawers; Mexican tile counters and back-splash; new light fixtures; new sink and faucet; over the range microwave installed; and fresh painting on ceiling, cabinets, etc. We're very happy with the results! It's made the room more airy and colorful - a much more pleasant experience. Mostly, we knew the changes we wanted, and Jeff guided us through our consultations with cabinet makers, tile setters, electricians, plumbers, painters, etc. All work was done professionally and any problems were dealt with to our satisfaction. Rob, the foreman, did a great job overseeing the day-to-day work and keeping us informed throughout the project. We're very happy with our project and Avenue B!

I had the pleasure of working with Avenue B about a year ago when I bought a fixer-upper in the Hyde Park area of Austin. I engaged Jeff early on in the home selection process and we both had similar views about the potential of the home. Upon closing, Jeff and his team got started. Extremely professional, on-time I think these guys are the standard when it comes to renovations. Even more important, is that AVE B FINISHED AHEAD OF TIME AND UNDER BUDGET. I would gladly work with these guys again.
