We recently remodeled a home in the Austin Hill Country and RisherMartin was the perfect solution for us. Early in the planning process, there were many stumbling blocks that could have led us to cancel the entire project, but Jeremy was extremely patient and helpful at guiding us. Without his guidance, we would have a MUCH different (and less amazing) house than we are currently living in. They were exceptionally good at communicating all through the actual remodel process with weekly meetings where we walked through every aspect of what had happened during the previous week and reviewed the schedule as a whole moving forward. Last, but definitely not least, they worked incredibly hard to get our family into the house before the Holidays, which was not an easy task. Quality of work is also top notch. Would happily work with RisherMartin in the future.

RisherMartin did an excellent job on our recent bathroom and laundry room remodeling project. From conception to completion, they managed the entire process with a high degree of professionalism. We were impressed by the weekly status meetings and their fine attention to detail throughout the project. They were also very conscientious about the crews cleaning up each day and our project manager, Derrick, did a personal walkthrough each evening, sweeping up dust and ensuring that there was no trash or debris left in the house. He went above and beyond on a daily basis to ensure we were satisfied. The team truly did their best to minimize the disruption to our family for the duration of the project. We were especially grateful for this, as we were living in the house while the work was taking place. We had heard several nightmare stories about remodeling projects dragging on beyond the initial timeline and those with significant cost overruns. This was definitely not the case with our project. While we experienced a few delays due to weather and contractors not showing up on various days, we were satisfied with the overall completion date of the project. In addition, the project was right on budget; the only over-runs were due to additional requests on our part. We highly recommend RisherMartin; Jeremy, Derrick, Jay, Michael and their team are great to work with and provided valuable opinions and guidance at every stage. We couldn't be happier with our new bathroom and the various other improvements they handled throughout our house.

R+M helped us complete a major overhaul on our 1955 home, including moving the kitchen, adding kid space and a pool. We have been so happy with the results and the process! We had a truly positive 8 month experience and were pleasantly surprised after all the horror stories usually associated with remodeling. They didn't wait for us to notice any problems, but had work re-done or solutions worked out before we even noticed an issue. I looked forward to our on site weekly meetings to see the progress being made and find solutions to anything that came up.These guys are really committed to quality and have a system to keep the project moving as smoothly as possible.Chris, Jeremy, and James are all exceptional.We love love love our new old house and I would never use anyone else.

Risher Martin built a very challenging 3-home spec project for me. After embarking on the project, I became pregnant with twins, so I was incredibly distracted, unable to leave the house for months before giving birth and then after the babies came I could spare not a single moment or thought for the houses. As with any project, problems arose. There were more than most on this one because of the steepness and inaccessibility of the building site, and because I had already checked out when it came time to review the final architectural plans, so there were issues that I didn't catch. Jeremy was infinitely patient and communicative and they took it on themselves to solve each problem as it came along while keeping me informed, all the while keeping a close eye on the budget and doing everything in their power to keep it under control. In the end, the houses sold more or less immediately, and the project won the top honor in the National Home Builders Association awards for 2013. I have had a lot of experience with contractors. My husband and I built out one commercial space and renovated our first home by ourselves, and hired contractors for 4 other large commercial projects and 3 large kitchen and bathroom renovations for our home. Risher Martin is far and away the most communicative, respectful, responsible, pro-active, efficient, and just plain PLEASANT company I've ever dealt with. I also think it's worth mentioning that this was my own project, and my husband did not get involved at all. It's so rare to find someone in the construction industry that doesn't hold women in contempt. Several of the other contractors we've dealt with have been quite comfortable telling me that they didn't want to deal with a woman, and I should go get my husband, so they could talk to a "real person" (actual quote)

My wife and I are tremendously pleased with the work that Jeremy Martin did in building our new home. We give him our highest recommendation, and the reasons are simple. He works on a tight schedule; he stays in budget; and – most importantly – the quality of his team's work is absolutely first rate. Jeremy is a consummate professional, and he is amazingly pleasant to deal with. Jeremy’s first and only priority was to get it right, and we have a beautiful home as a result. Five stars, no question.
