Avera Queen of Peace Health Services consists of several medical facilities dedicated to providing comprehensive health care in Mitchell, SD and a nineteen-county area.
Avera Queen of Peace Health Services is proud to be a member of the Mitchell community. With over 650 employees, we are the largest employer in Davison County. It was due, in part, to the invitation of early Mitchell business leaders back around the turn of the 20th century that encouraged the Presentation Sisters to build a hospital to help take care of the community. Avera Queen of Peace is pleased to help make Mitchell a great place to call home!
