The new building is very well appointed. Really like Dr Clem, he takes the time needed to understand why you are there and to solve for treatment. Great "bedside" manner. I also worked with some of the physical therapists and they were also great.

My husband was in the Madison last year for 7 weeks and received excellent care from whole staff. I know his good recovery was related to the staff.

I was treated here a couple years ago when I lived here. I had some stomach issues. They asked me a series of questions, then eventually I got an x-ray. They led me to the x-ray room to see the results instead of having a doctor come to my room. They told me I shouldn't of lied to them in my answers. As far as I knew, I wasn't lying. I was a 19 year old girl sick with something that is still effecting me today because of how unprofessional and mean they were to me. They never explained what was really wrong with me, just made me feel bad for coming to the doctor. I would never go back. This is the worst hospital in the area. Drive to Watertown or Sioux Falls.

They make you go in and pay for a full visit just to get a slip of paper for an appointment to see a specialist. They also charge double for visits, and refuse to accept their own receipts from online bill pay as proof of payment. The nurses themselves are nice (that I dealt with, anyway), but the operation as a whole is shady and difficult to deal with.

I try to pay a little of my bill every month online and their website is the dumbest thing ever. I put all my information in and then it just disappears, its so touchy. They really need to upgrade how you run a debit or credit card online.
