This is located inside Sheraton hotel. It’s a convenient food option for hotel guest. Food is decent. They gave a large dining area. I liked their morning breakfast options. However I won’t come here if not staying at Sheraton. Really long wait in the morning for breakfast.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: Yes
Normally I don’t write reviews, only read them, but I felt like I needed to write this one. Our waiter was incredible. I think the best one I’ve ever seen. He gave us a free wine dessert, gave us better seating, was so nice, and went out of his way. The food was amazing. The restaurant was very calming, not busy, and family friendly. The desserts were delicious the tartufo and ricotta cheesecake.
The rating is based mainly on the service received. This night there was only one server but he seemed as though he couldn’t be bothered with our table. We were a table of 8. There were 2 other tables, which both only had parties of four. Barely greeted us. Passed the table several times with no acknowledgement. Had to ask for water. He finally came back after about 15 mins, he poured mine first, immediately I noticed something floating in it. He removed the water from the table and never came back with a drag glass for me nor did he provide water to the rest of my party 4/8. The food was the only redeeming quality. It was good. My colleagues had pasta which they said was delicious.
Food was very tasty for a hotel restaurant. Having spaghetti and meat balls and the Mt. Edna dishes. Beverages were good. Service was uninspired and the night we dined the atmosphere was kinda dead.
We came to Avere thinking it’s a nice place to eat from the pictures. My husband ordered the Penne pasta on the menu. It was absolutely TERRIBLE!!! The sauce tasted as if it was made from can tomatoes sauce and water. Do NOT order the pastas from here!!! Go anywhere else!!!!
The restaurant is located inside the Sheraton Hotel on the ground level. It is nice and spacious with a bar. We went on a Sunday evening and it was surprisingly dead quiet. There were maybe 2 or 3 other patrons. The staff were friendly and nice and we were obvious seated immediately. The decor was a little elevated with white linen and even some interesting murals on the wall. My wife ordered the IL Papperdelle and I had the chicken Marsala. We also ordered the Caprese con Mozzarella Di buffalo as an appetizer. There was also bread which was lightly toasted regular bread with olive oil and olives - that was pretty good. The mozzarella was good as well. My wife loved her dish, especially the gist cheese and thought it was rich but in a good way. My chicken Marsala was OK. The pasta was ok and the chicken was pounded flat and maybe could've been more flavourful. Overall it was OK. The portions for both dishes were huge. All thing considered it was a nice restaurant and my wife loved her dish and I was more lukewarm to mine so more like 3 1/2stars.
Everything and the food seemed good until I saw two roaches crawling on my table! I’m staying in the hotel and just wanted to come down and have dinner. Totally gross and unacceptable.
We failed to get into two Italian places in Little Italy, so we retreated back to our hotel in Brooklyn, but I still wanted something, so we Googled and found this place. It was quiet, relaxing and peaceful, the exact opposite of the madness of Little Italy. The drinks were good and the food was delicious.
Good food, service, music, good place. I recomend it.
This restaurant has a good look as far as the way it is laid out. However, the woman at the bar is awful, no personality, no real help with answering questions about the menu. But, if you wanted a meal that is filled with sodium, a meal that they probably poured the "meat sauce" out of a can, and not see other people eating in the restaurant except may four, then this is the perfect place for you to eat. For me, I will go where the food is delicious and where people treat you like they really want to serve you and do a great job and there are more than me and a few of guinea pigs eating. Now, I understand why the restaurant was NOT busy!
