Good food in a busy location. Expect restaurants in San Clemente to close early. Bar staff started closing down the bar before the posted 10 PM. Otherwise good service, with a neighborhood feel. Get anything with the garlic butter sauce. Not a vacation highlight but seemed consistent with lots of locals popping in and out.

Went into the establishment at 4:15 pm on a Tuesday. No one to seat me, lady said sit where there is a table. I did and the waiter was so busy and no one else taking care of tables. Sat at the table for 10 min with no water or menu. Then finally he brought water and no menu still. Very poor service will never go to this worthless Mexican restaurant again!

Good Mexican cuisine, salsa and margaritas. The 'Mama Avila's Soup is great. If you are not in the mood for a full meal, he Avila's Appetizer platter is more than enough to share for two.

Wonderful chicken enchilada for lunch or meal with rice& beans. The food, service is so good! I'm retired,so to me a little pricey. But food is very good, delicious 👍❣
