Absolutely wonderful food! Everything is well prepared and served hot.  Wait staff is always attentive, friendly and engaging, and the managers stop by the table to make sure your experience is excellent.

The fried chicken is the bomb! Probably the best in Texas, as good or better than Po Po's in Welfare, TX. When I come to DFW, I always eat here and get some to take back to San Antonio. And the sides are to die for! I read reviews saying that they tasted straight from the can. If so, I want to know what brand of can, because I'd sure buy it! The green beans and corn are excellent. The gravy is superb, and the biscuits divine. 

I've been to every location and always had an awesome experience! You simply MUST eat here!

Food was excellent and lots of sides.  Best buttermilk biscuits ever!  We got there at 5:30 PM with no wait to be seated.  When we left, it was so crowded with people waiting to get inside.  Gazebos was overflowing with people down the sidewalk and in parking lot.  Either make reservations or get there by 5:30 PM at the latest.  They have heat blowing to help you get warm and music.

We went for me son's birthday and it was soooo delicious. It was our first time going so we didn't know what to expect.  They allowed us to bring a cake we bought somewhere else and stored it in the fridge until we were ready for it.  Our waitress was very attentive, even with a packed building. We were blown away by how quickly we received our food and how hot and delicious it all was.

Excellent!!  Went in got seated right away and our server took our order.  Buns, green beans, mashed potatoes, niblets corn, and gravy are standard so all you have to do is order your type of chicken.  Fast, hot and lots.  We were impressed!!

Haven't been to  Babes in Years..What a mistake on my part! Went this evening during Christmas  holidays! Oh how we enjoyed the atmosphere with the House inside decorated with snow,lights and Santa on the roof! The music was delightful! Our waitress was adorable, and took very good care of my elderly mom when she couldn't eat the catfish,she changed it to smoked chicken at no charge!! We will be returning,hopefully soon!!
Manager was on site,laughing with customers including us!! Loved it!!
