20 years and counting...
Babies to Kids was birthed 20 years ago when I was pregnant with my youngest son. My mom, Sandy, and I saw the need for quality baby and children's items in Flagstaff. So our first store, Babies to Kids, was born out of necessity; not to mention we wanted to have a little fun! Then a few years later we added our amazing toy store, Book Nest Toy Store. Now we could watch those babies grow up right before our eyes as they would come into our toy store with their parents and grandparents and find the perfect treasure...what a joy! We were like treasure hunters ourselves...looking for the best the industry had to offer; with safety, development and quality being #1. Then, we began to focus on our wonderful teachers and parents who wanted to enrich their child's learning experience in new ways...so we added Northern Arizona Teacher's Supply. Educational books, manipulatives, decorations for classroom and support materials were brought in to make every educator of Flagstaffs' children a success! And can I have a drum roll please...yes, there was a 4th store added...Book Nest Paint Your Own Pottery! The focus there was for a creative place for families and individuals to come and let their imagination go wild! We supply the pottery and paints and seating, and our locals come and make masterpieces! We simply glaze and fire their works of art, and they are ready for pick-up in about a week. So that's what I've been doing for the past 20 years and hope to continue for decades to come!
