;( 3 weeks without any word about our loved one for just a cremation. We were told we would have cremains the following week in order to have a family gathering. Just excuses when I called to see what was going on. Was told "it's not done over night" Didn't seem too sorry. Guess you get better service if you pay them to do a full service.

When my father passed away Baca's did an awesome job taking care of everything. They made going through this hard time so much easier. We could grieve for my father while they handled all the details. It was like having family handling the details so we didn't have to. The staff was awesome and very compassionate and professional. I know that's why so many family's use Baca's funeral home. I have been to many funerals and they are always do such a good job taking care of not only the grieving family but also the guests at the funerals with umbrellas if it's raining or if it's sunny to keep you in the shade they really think of everything. Good hearted people thank you Baca's for what you do for all family's in Las Cruces! God bless you!

My mother recently passed and the staff there has piss poor communication amongst each other. They kept losing my mothers information. They would give us rude smearks and were very unprofessional. They wear horrible with telling us our options as for what services they provide. Money wasnt an issue since our insurance covered up to 10,000. And still they were sloppy. We paid for an obituary that didnt come out till the day before so for all her friends we couldnt call they didnt have much of a notice. The way they spoke of my mom i understand shes passed away but how dear they refer to her as a thing. Instead of saying she would be arriving they said that her "Remains" will arrive like shes another object. Thats my mother. We will be trying a new funeral home when and if that time arrives.
