They are they only funeral chapel that we entrust with our loved ones services. The caring and compassion they have is beyond words. They always make sure that any special requests are honored. The services they provide are beautiful and meaningful. Edgar and all the staff are so friendly and helpful and that is a comfort to those that have just lost a loved one and are grieving. They definitely go above and beyond to provide you with the most memorable service for your loved one.

Amazed by the professionalism! Helpful in all ways, we were able to arrange for our loved cousin to be transferred to Albuquerque, for us to say our last goodbyes. Pain we felt was greater but yet they made everything so simple for us. Truly blessed we were able to say goodbye and all Family Terrazas did for us to make this happen. Wonderful beyond great service all the way around. Thank you!! You will never have an idea of what you did for my family! I am a Funeral Director in Reno, Nevada. I worked with Edgar at Terrazas Funeral Chapel and he was very easy to work with. Very quick to take care of business. I do recommend Terrazas funeral chapel to anyone who has funeral service needs.
It may seem a little weird to some to give a review on a funeral chapel, but I couldn't let my experience go without one! I'm from CA and my momma lived in Las Cruces, NM. So at Christmas I always go and spend about 9 days or so with her, but it was never enough. This last Christmas 12/2017 my mom told me she had met with Luis Terrazas of Terrazas Funeral Chapel. She was so happy she met him and she spoke so highly of him! She said he's so handsome! She showed me the Christmas card his family sent her and a magazine he and his family was in. Then she told me she had picked what she wanted for her funeral and that she started paying on it. I being the baby didn't want to hear about her death. Little did I know in just 4 months my momma would be gone unexpectedly! That's when I met this wonderful man she told me so much about just months before. I have only great things to say about Luis Terrazas and his funeral chapels. He took care of everything and made everything simple and worry free in a time that's so difficult. Unfortunately my mom passed and we didn't get to say goodbye. After driving 13 hours all night with none of us getting any sleep, we called Luis and asked him if there was any possible way we could see our mom to say our goodbyes before she was embalmed. He IMMEDIATELY made time! This was our first meeting with Luis. We settled all of the funeral arrangements and saw our mom who looked so beautiful and at peace. Her precious skin was as soft as when she was alive. I got to kiss her and hug her and say goodbye, we all did. I'm so glad we got that opportunity because I just do not like embalming. Thank you Luis, it meant everything to us. When the funeral was all over we all said we were glad we asked to see her to say our goodbyes. At the church we had problems with the DVD slide show of our mom, but Luis moved heaven and earth to get the sound to play with our DVD slide show our fault, because we didn't get him the DVD in 2-3 days before the funeral! Luis even rebooted the computer and church sound system to get it to play! My mom always told us she wanted Louie Armstrong's "What A Wonderful World" to play at her funeral. Luis made it happen and that made our day! Giving up was not an option for him! I tear up writing this because it meant everything to us! After we had been there a week and a half settling things I was running out of time and needed to get back to work. The funeral was Friday, by Tuesday Luis called to let us know she was cremated Monday. He then tried to get a hold of the priest of her parish, but he was unreachable or out for the week. So once again Luis went above and beyond to find another Father from a different parish the very next day to lay momma to rest in the columbarium she chose at the church. These are just some of the things he went above and beyond in. He did everything. I HIGHLY recommend Terrazas Funeral Chapel for you and your loved ones. He only gives the utmost respect and kindness to you and your loved one's and he goes above and beyond for family's during this difficult time. There is nobody else I would have rather had taking care of my momma and laying her peacefully and respectfully to rest. I'm happy to give 5 stars to Terrazas Funeral Chapels. Please check them out for your loved ones, I promise you, you won't regret it! They have locations in Deming, Santa Clara, Silver City and Las Cruces.
