Went for a 4:30pm dinner on Valentine’s Day. Not too many people at that time and it was quiet and welcoming. Was quite confusing at the door as 3 separate people greeted us and told us they’d be back to seat us but didn’t come back but we still got seated quickly. They suggest an appetizer, we got the calamari which was great. We shared the gnocchi and margarita pizza. The gnocchi was flavourful and creamy and the sauce was a delicious dip for the crust of the pizza. The pizza was slightly underwhelming. I had expected fresh mozzarella and a sweeter tomato sauce and it was good, just not as expected. Cocktails were good too Wheelchair accessibility: Doesn’t seem too wheelchair accessible as the tables are quite close to each other
Really enjoyed my sea bass perfect cooked and seasoned, Yummy. Veal chop was juicy and tender, Arugula salad was good also , fresh and crisp. Definitely recommend Food: 5/5
Waited about 5 minutes for somebody to lead me to a table. However their food is fair. I tried chicken masala and it was so good, would be better if they got more sauce on the top, a little bit dry for the last few pieces. Mushroom was perfectly fried with beautiful smell. The tiramisu was too moist, too much coffee made it so soft and bitter.but still, it’s not a bad place to try Italian food.
My partner and I went together recently for his birthday, and it was amazing! Our plans fell through at another place nearby and it was already 8pm, everyone else was booked up but they had space for walk-ins. Olivia, our waiter, was amazing! Really kind, helpful, and down to earth. The restaurant was comfortable, the food was great, and the pricing was super reasonable. The only thing was probably the volume, it was very very loud but it's an Italian restaurant in a smaller venue. There isn't really much they can do! It cleared up around 9pm and got a lot quieter as folks started to leave. We will 100% be coming back soon! Thank you for a lovely evening!
Wonderful atmosphere, accompanied with live music. Dishes are solid, come out hot, and service is quick and efficient.Food: 5/5
I went to celebrate my birthday on a rainy Wednesday and it was very nice. Server was super friendly and eager to serve, ambience was nice, I loved that there was Italian music playing in the background. Place is small but better that way, it feels very cozy. They have an amazing selection of Italian wines but I chose the Prosecco instead and the temperature was perfect. Food was delicious, appetizers, main course, dessert all amazing. I wish they had the touch of bringing a candle for me to blow and make a wish on my special day but I still did it with the tea light that was on the table :
We decided to dine into this restaurant as a party of 6 to celebrate a very auspicious occasion. The cocktails here packed zero flavour and were an absolute let down after paying 15 bucks for what was water with blue food colouring. The food however was fresh and was made to order. There could have been improvements to the dinner but overall we had a good experience.
Calamari was very nice, the batter was one of the best I’ve had. Margarita pizza was different than expected. Dough was good but very doughy so depending on what you like. Penne vodka sauce was amazing! The tortellini was good but I wouldn’t get it again. Atmosphere was nice.
Great date-night restaurant given the ambience and layout. I find it easy to have a conversation versus other places that get loud. The staff are knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. The food amazing. Also, priced well for the quality of the food versus some other downtown Oakville restaurants. This place is a gem and becoming a favorite of ours. I had the mussels cozze as an app, which was an ample amount. Sauce was tasty with a little heat and perfect for bread dipping. My main was the Penne. My wife had the Burrata as an app and the Risotto Funghi as her main. All made to perfection. We finished with a bread putting dessert which I must say had the most amazing tasting ice cream.
Sadly I cannot comment on the quality of the fare as the service I received prompted me to leave before ordering. My family and I made reservations for 7:15 for a party of 6. 3 of the group arrived and were seated and provided with menus, so far so good right? Well 5 minutes later, a gentleman came over and said I need to move you guys as someone who has a reservation after you needs to be at this table and I will get yelled at if she doesn’t get this table. So my group was moved. Now while I feel for his plight, I am also a paying customer but apparently my $$ aren’t as valuable as whoever would come in and do the yelling. Fast forward to the rest of my party joining, our new table is more cramped and we decided to leave. When we left without ordering, no one queried why we were leaving, no one asked if there was a concern, NOT ONE QUESTION. Just a thank you for coming as we filed out. Now while I know on the face of it - thank you for coming seems like a very gracious greeting, context is king. And in this context it was the equivalent of a southerner saying bless your heart and meaning quite opposite. I can’t help but wonder if our updated seating arrangement, the lack of care about opting not to stay, if it has anything to do with the hue of my group. Either way, I was so flabbergasted by the treatment for a reservation my family and I were so looking forward to in celebration of coming out of a very traumatic week - I needed to post this.
