The crab cakes we're so-so, but the steak was one of the best I've ever had!  
Excellent place for date night.  
Ribeye was properly priced.  
My sauce on the pasta was broken but the flavor was great.

Portion sizes are perfect.

Wine selection was really good.  Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Had large group on a Thursday night.  We’re in the restaurant business and could be hard to please - but everyone was quite satisfied with everything from servers to great steaks.  They know how to do it here.   All prepared as ordered and timely.

We travel to Hot Springs a lot each year. We love it there and have a box at Oaklawn. We have eaten at pretty much every restraint. We finally got to eat at the Back Porch that we had heard so much about. We sat right next to where they prepare the steaks. I watched in shock as they sprayed my steak with butter flavored Pam. The taste was awful. And it was a 30 dollar piece of meat. It was cooked terrible. Part of it was barely warm, very rare. While another part was over cooked. It was a very over priced terrible eating experience. Will never go back.

The service was awesome, and thge staff was very friendly.  Hallie checked on my husband and me continuously, and she was very accomodating when i requested to move from one area of the restaurant to another.  Great experience.

Very good food. I had the 6 oz filler and my wife had snapper Florentine. Both were cooked to perfection, served hot and fast. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food and service.
